Title: Rockman not in Brawl?

In the latest Bionic Commando podcast, Keiji Inafune, father of Rockman, says that MegaMan isn't in Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

I think that´s because of Mega isn´t revealed from Nintendo. It was later in Nintendo handhelds or consoles like the GB. The very first game was for PS I think. Because of this they just use ONLY NINTENDO persons. I don´t know it for you true but I think so...

on ign it says that classic megaman will be playable and that he will be similar to kirby and samus. i found that a while ago but now i cant find a link.

Hmm... It is a rumor. But the list was going to be revealed in some Japanese magazine on the 13th anyway... I dunno. Other than Geno and Isaac it seems believable, and yet part of me thinks even those people could make it due to the sheer amount of crazy stuff Sakurai is throwing in the game. Thoughts? |

Rockman is not in Brawl cause he's more of a Capcom character than a Nintendo character like Mario. Plus, I don't see Rockman as part of Nintendo.
We hope he will be in Brawl. :/

ok,people say that megaman is or is not in brawl , but do anyone knows the truth? it is much better to wait . megaman can be in brawl for the term of "third party" which means out of the co. of nintendo can be in brawl as a player, for people still thinking that megaman will not appear. Who knows?

The officials said that there would be 3 third party characters. the ones out are Sonic, Snake and the other one i don't know, so it isn't likely that megaman is in smash bros. ????

People, stop saying "Megaman won't be in Brawl" if nobody said that. They just said "They might get around to asking us if we’d like to put Mega Man in Super Smash Brothers" so there's still a chance....
Besides, I don't really care about that, I am not getting Wii anyway so if Megaman will be in Brawl, cool, if not, maybe next time.

Maybe he won't be, but if I read right... someone said Isaac would be. Isaac from golden sun? I HOPE SO! If he is, I'll buy a wii and the game just for that purpose. Golden sun was one of the best series ever, about time they bring it back a bit. Hopefully they finally make GS3 as well. Though I highly doubt it T_T

Unfortunately at this point, it seems he won't be in it at all. That means some random, seemingly unknown 3rd party character will be in Brawl.

issac isnt a 3rd party character since it from nintendo only. as for the megaman part i dont even wanna see him there cause 1 his down and b move would be 1 of two things. 1 leaf shield (just like mvc) or 2 his slide..... and his foward and b would be most likly like samus missles.. tap for normal. smash for charged.

That's a.... strange combination.
I don't get it, just the other day they added Olimar, yet Megaman seems so much better in this case. I know he's Capcom's character, but I still think he would be much more fitting than Olimar.
