Due to the success of my recent cheats for this game, I'll post it here.


These cheats should work for ARDS and you need to push Select to activate them. DO NOT PUSH SELECT BEFORE LOADING YOUR FILE OR IT WILL BE ERASED PERMANENTLY‼‼‼


Now, here are my cheats.

Well, that's it. Hopefully I can find a slot in cheat soon or at least a working music mod. So far, this is all I have, which won't be found anywhere else.

They don't work on EUR. Anyway, the codes are great Mega Rock!

So US version have 4.5 goodie leftovers? Interesting...

heheh codes that I looked for, long time ago, too bad now I can get those effects without codes but nah other people will have fun ^_^

Finally i can play the BN4.5 MysteryMail Quest but it's weird that there is this quest in the US version.

Guess i didn't seen this thread before :-)

Apart from the 4.5 sidequest in USA/EUR versions, the Battle Music of 4.5 is still in that versions, but I read somewhere that it won't activate if you insert 4.5 cart in GBA slot.

I hope someone find a music replacing code someday...

So maybe next target will be Boktai 3 data??? ;)
and of course sloting will not work because You had to reprogram game code for US version what should not be very hard :p

I tried a music swap code before. I think there is a value that triggers that, but a raw replacement cheat would work, too. I don't understand why the music portion is different from the GBA one, unless I'm looking wrong.

You'll have to wait on some videos. The 3D one and special Cross one will be the same video, but I'm having some difficulty uploading it.

My 4.5 code isn't working well. I got it to work once, but now it won't work, and I need to record that one, too.

I can't get working that 4.5 Mystery Mail code, too.

A nearby address got it working, but I lost track of the exact address and value. Maybe something like 20, but 01 doesn't cut it.

Searching, I found a thread of yours at TUS that contained a code for that Mystery Mail, but didn't work for me.

Strange thing, though, that I can't have more than 4 cheats. After that, no more data can be written in any other way. I guess this can be the only cheat you can have on.


The official cheat is:

Push select after your file has loaded. A Gold Prog will appear on your HP. Just make this your only cheat and it will work.

If it matter I can check Action Replay codes on my DS if You want Master Mega Rock.EXE :)

The real AR shouldn't have a code limit. It should work, but always have a backup just in case.

Oh, and I thought a music mod had that problem, but nothing works. No$GBA has to support GBA slotting soon, so I can work of of that. I don't know if it triggers a value, or if it's looking for a name.

I checked some secret-parts-of-Ura-Net and I'm for 99% sure that game is looking for certain string value in SRAM of Slot-2 game so it can be exact name of save which is impossible because I named few ways my saves and FCR is still working so it must be some certain area of save in SRAM of Slot-2 game... but which one...wait a second...
........

However, data around that address can cause the game freeze upon loading a file, like a message. Also, another value around there lets you get a special message like when you slot in BN5, earning a TP Chip.

Hmmm I have really crazy idea... I will check If I can find file with Rockman mugshoots than what about replacing them with Forte Cross Rockman style mugshoots?? :D

As with other leftover datas in MMSF and BN5DTDS, 4.5 Mystery Mail got translated in EUR versions as well. I don't know the code for EUR, I only saved with US rom in front of Mr. Prog, and then used the save in EUR.

That's the European version? Woah! Show me more.

Translation:
Prog: You are Megaman, Lan's Navi, right?
Mega: Yes. Who are you?
Prog: I'm a program who was ordered to give you this message.
Take: a email from my owner.
Take it.

The entire quest is translated, but I only took that firsts screenshots.
And... how lame sounds "Batalla de Red 4.5", they should leave that as "Battle Network".

Is that cheats work on JAP Version?? because I'm using JAP Version (If doesn't works, It must be in ENG Version... *sigh*)

The code is for the US version ARDS so yeah, it only works with the US version.

But JAP saves work for USA and EUR versions too. And you didn't revived a dead topic, Marinakoko.

Did you push Select? Did you use the right code? Remember to push Select after your file has loaded and that R4 supports this game.

If u push select at the right time, does it says then that mmbn 5 is detected and if u want to play as Basscross?

I can give you a actual working S forte cross/Gold forte cross/Sol cross code for the ARDS that a friend of mine made.
