Title: How do I patch roms?

I realy want to use the english patch for MMBN 4.5,but I don't know how to use the patch,please help.

Google search "lunar ips", or LIPS, download it, open it, select the patch to use, patch it to the rom, voila.

Download Lunar IPS.
Open the program.
Select the Patch.
Select the ROM.
Then you're done. :p I think anyways.

I downloaded all the things,but I can't get the lunar thing to work.the thing that opens it got changed,and I don't how to get it back.I tried stuff like wordpad and internet explorer,but they won't work!please help.

You misunderstood me,I meant I download the rom and the lunar thing,not all the progams on that page.Now about my other problem.

Dangit, now we're not on the same page.
You need:
1. One ROM (don't ask for that)
2. One Patch
3. Lunar IPS
Open Lunar IPS. Hit "apply patch." Follow the instructions and you should be fine. :)

I downloaded Lunar IPS.I try to open it.I can't get it to open becuase I don't what progam to use it with.

It's an application. It should run on double click.

he is double clicking the ips file i gurantee. dont even attempt that. just go to lunar ips.

Either that or the ROM.
Open the program Lunar IPS. It should run on a double click.

I found out what was wrong I think.I think my computer uses a program to unzip files.but that progam got changed to something else.anybody know what progam I should use to unzip it,or where to find a already unzipped version?

Sorry for the duople post but I got it to work.However after I patch the ROM,I don't see any changes?Should I use a save game state or something?

Since you're new, Nemo may only let you off with a verbal warning, but …
Try using a savestate. If you still don't see any changes, either you have…
A. The wrong patch
B. The wrong ROM
C. A patch that does nothing
