That's the same exact problem that I had. I think I know which patch you are using.

Download a clean ROM, with the same name. Remove the old patched ROM and replace it with the new ROM (unpatched).

Run the game, and load your save.

You should be able to enter the next area. Once you do so, use a savestate, close VBA. Then, move the old, patched rom into the directory where is was before.

Try it. I dare you. :p

did it work? cause if it did then yeah ill do it right now but also after i finsih that part can i patch the rom again?

Or press Ctrl+4 (if I remember correct, if not any number from 1-8).

Hehe :D May solution was for something else :D For Blizzard. When i was using a Solar Patch, i had a blizzard on screen (after beating a Count first time) and i didn't saw even Django on teh screen. Fighting against that Snow monster was hard too.

But my small mistake....

this is what i did which was really easy o.o
got a new one like shadowzero.exe said got the old messed up one and kicked it out but LEFT the sav file there put the new one with the old sav file ran it and it was there with all my data PLUS the solar patch with it and i got to advance to the next lvl :p how cool is that
