Finally I got my new computer work. Now I have the problem that I cannot hear a thing. I installed the sound driver of my soundcard but I cannot hear anything. Please, can anyone help me?

sure when you installed it you did everything what your last comp had?
or maybe your speakers ar eon its lowest
or you just might adjust the comp's sound setting

Maybe your speaker's connection thingy is placed properly, Like in USB's (That also happens to me)
Or maybe your volume is off
Or maybe your Speaker's power is off

Simple steps:
Did you reboot since install?
Have you tried your speakers on another computer?
Have you tried the onboard sound chip(newer computers since 2001)?
Have you made sure your system volume is on?

or
1. are you sure theyre not broken??
2. did you install correctly ??
3. are you sure it wasnt on mute?
4. did you go to volume control to adjust volume ??
