Title: Court Room
Description: Game
Falken XL - May 3, 2008 06:09 PM (GMT)
I just came up with this idea. It's simple, someone makes an accusation against someone else of something and we play it like a real case. All objections will be made through
http://objection.mrdictionary.net/index.php. For the first round I'll be a judge.

You're only supposed to use objection if you're objecting something. Otherwise it goes in posts. Sure EL, you can be the prosecuting attorney
Super Saiyan 2 - May 4, 2008 05:45 PM (GMT)
ok objection spammin starts NAO!
Falken XL - May 4, 2008 05:56 PM (GMT)
Now we need EL... or atleast a substitute prosecutor....
Who wants to be the prosecutor?
Exceeding Light - May 4, 2008 06:46 PM (GMT)
I already said that I want to xD Need me to make my statement?

How was that an objection? If you're not objecting something don't use objection.
Edit: And please try to expand. Anyone who has posted in the "Attention all Spammers" topic is guilty of spamming.

This is the part where you defend yourself. And please try to not use objection unless you're actually objecting something.

|
what?
Falken XL - May 5, 2008 01:17 AM (GMT)
You know nothing about court. Here's what sustained means:
| QUOTE |
In the law of the United States of America, an objection is a formal protest raised in court during a trial to disallow a witness's testimony or other evidence which would be in violation of the rules of evidence or other procedural law. An objection is typically raised after the opposing party asks a question of the witness, but before the witness can answer, or when the opposing party is about to enter something into evidence. The judge then makes a ruling on whether the objection is "sustained" (the judge agrees with the objection and disallows the question, testimony, or evidence) or "overruled" (the judge disagrees with the objection and allows the question, testimony, or evidence). An attorney may choose to "rephrase" a question that has been objected to, so long as the judge permits it.
An objection may also be raised against a judge's ruling, in order to preserve the right to appeal the ruling. |
Find the word sustained.

DAMN!
Exceeding Light - May 5, 2008 02:42 AM (GMT)
as you can see, your honor, SS2 has been spamming in this very thread, along with breaking other rules. Saying quote 'damn' unquote or quote 'what?' unquote as two seperate posts. One breaks two rules. saying 'damn' not only violates the spamming rule AND the post size rule, BUT is swearing, which is 3 infractions in one post. I rest my case, your honor.
