I've obviously broken some records here. I recorded 44 clips to make this part. The cheats for the text equal to about 36 KB. I had to sit in front of my computer for an average of 15 hours for 3 days.

This was a very short "extra" episode. Took me 2 days to make (about 20 hours)
I hope to keep you guessing for the next part. Remember that Part 5 will be huge! With a cliffhanger ending and the arrival of the antagonist character, you'll be hooked!
Also, please keep in mind how condensed the script has to be. I must convey my ideas in short messages. In the game, 2 letters are 1 line of cheat. Now plus all the letters and lines, and cheat limit I must consider... it's tough.

[box=part 4 stuff]It took me 3 whole days to finish this part. It felt rather quick.
Now, I already spoiled the sprites in the previous announcement, so there isn't much new this time.

[box=part 3 stuff]Not many errors for Part 3. Only a minor black scene in 3-1, but that's it. 3-2 is perfect.

I am aware that I have not yet used all the Aquaman sprites yet, but I made them on the same sheet at the same time, so I did not remove them. Sneak peak!

I WILL NOT be posting blank lines for this episode mainly because I already posted a lot, and I'm basically talking to myself, so no, not this time.

Also, now being aware that even this episode totaled up to be about 15 minutes, it is a guarantee that the rest will be about 15 minutes or longer.

[box=part 1]Errors include some video editing errors. I attempted to make the crisis theme loop, but failed; Tomahawkman was supposed to have 4000 HP, but I guess I missed it when I re-recorded the video.

Uh, this video took 3 weeks to make, just an interesting fact. I made it because it is more deep than just random battles with a little script.

Instead of L message hacking, I did NPC message hacking.

It involves pushing a button, like select, to start a conversation with that person, but hack th text with cheats to insert the message.

In the box, I have ALL the cheats for all the words (or most of them) used in the video. The easiest part about this method is that they can be reconstructed to create new messages. Remember I did all of the lines individually and are very time consuming.[/box]

This is the cheat to speak with a distant character to hack text. Depending on who you can get, it will change the exact address of the cheat, but I have 2 examples.

There's a bit of information that I should have mentioned. There will be a maximum of 10 episodes to this series. School is almost out for me, so this may just be possible. In the meantime, just keep guessing and I will try to release an episode every 3 weeks. (as it takes a long time to produce)

Just to clear up any confusion, I updated the first post with some basic background information. That should tie it together with Part 1 and Part 2 should really make it clear.

Hmm. I didn't quite remember that until now. I think it would have made the situation feel different if I did that.

This is clearly the best mini series I have seen. Technically, all of the other ones I saw were made by n00bs, but you get the idea. Really cool.

I just watched part 2 and tis nice butthe legs part was lol anyway youtube's limit is not exactly 10 mins but somewhere between 10:30-10:55 that's te max i saw

Saving the video takes 30 minutes, so I want to get it right the second time only. Since it had to be split in 2 parts, expect the next half to appear soon. To me, the first part was riddled with errors.

Great New Part 10/10 i like it

Part 3 will be a lot smaller, I can assure that. I thought this one would be 7 minutes, but I was wrong. 7 minutes for the next one.

The series so far is pretty good! :-) Can't wait for the next episode.

scary stuff, and i noticed after the battle with aquaman that i thought was weird. Also only thing i saw weird was Enzan saying "This is no good." at 4:13. Still im loving where this is going. If i can learn how to do this, I wanna try doing a series too.

Uh, remember that there are several dialog limitations. I can't just start making small talk. I must cut to the point or it starts taking sooo many cheats that I have do disable them during recording to add more because VBA is full.

I love the new crisis mega rock.exe! It's the most awesome rockman.exe hack I have ever seen. I haven't made my way through the hacking guide yet but is everything you did in "The new Crisis" explained how to do in the hacking guides?

No, what I do here is long tedious works with the game's engine. I cover battles, but that's only 25% of what is being done. Hacking those text boxes take a long time and setting the map is something else. I partially cover that on the main page's sprite hacking guide.

Ok, gotcha. When I have more time I will try to do stuff like that, too.

Actually, I believe I covered the basics in the "editing message in overworld" guide. Timaeus even made a similar video using that.

That's great! As I said before, when I will have "free-time" after restoring as much as possible I will update my skills and watch everything new. I don't want to fall back!
