I'm playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Darkness. I'm trying to beat Dialga, but come to no avail. Here's my Pokemon and strategy:

Player: Pikachu (level 41, attacks: Discharge, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Quick Attack)

Partner: Torchic (Level 41, attacks: Ember linked with Fire Spin, Quick Attack, Mirror move. When playing as Blaziken in PMD 1 Mirror move was probably the most handy move in my whole move-set.)

Strategy: Hit him with either an X-eye Seed or a Sleep seed (X-eye perferred) then use a Violent seed, to increase attack power and let him have it with Thunder. I always have atleast one Reviver Seed and God knows how many Oran Berriers. He heals incredibly fast though. His Roar of Judgement always throws me off. So, any tips?

My combo was Pikachu and Charmander.

Also, make sure that Pikachu gets agility. Link it with Thunder and Thunderbolt. Agility is a godsend in this game.

Kill Quick Attack, get Thunder Wave

If you can aquire a TM, teach Torchic Flamethrower. Link it with Fire Spin and Slash.

Torchic (Lv 41 - Raise to 43 to save 8K)
Flamethrower
-FireSpin
-Slash (Welcome to the jungle, it gets worse here every day! Sorry, GNR refrence)
Mirror Move

Inventory:
10 Oran Berries
5+ Doom Seeds
2+ Reviver Seeds
2+ Rain Orb (Raises accuracy of thunder to 100%)
1 (color) ribbon
5+ Sleep Seeds (for throwing)

Strategy:

Use Thunder Wave/throw Sleep Seeds until he falls asleep/is paralyzed
Throw as many doom seeds as you have
Use a rain orb
Use Agility (linked with Thunder and Thunderbolt)
Repeat until dialga isn't paralyzed/asleep. Use thunderwave/throw sleep seeds.
If dialga somehow uses roar of time, use mirror move.
If Rain Orb Expires, use another

That should allow you to win against any boss (excluding the mirror move part).

It's expensive, but it'll work, I guarantee it. Save RIGHT BEFORE you face Dialga so that you won't lose your items/have to backtrack.

If that won't let you win, I dunno what will.

Save right before? Don't know how to do that. I only know how to save at the Kanghaskan(spelling?) Rock right before the begining of Temporal Spire. And every time I use any orb no matter what it does, (I tested out like every orb in the game) It says, "A hidden force prevented you from using it" or something like that. And about the expesive part, that's the whole problem, I accidentally forgot to drop off my money at Duskull before going to Temporal Tower, so I'm broke. Also, X-eye seeds last a few turns, versus Sleep seeds which usually wear off in 0 moves. Anyway, I need to know, how do you save right before Dialga? That would help alot. I've gotten pretty close a few times.

25+ Geo Pebbles/Gravelrocks

Strategy:

Use Thunder Wave until he is paralyzed
Throw as many doom seeds as you have
Use a rain orb
Use Agility (linked with Thunder and Thunderbolt)
Repeat until dialga isn't paralyzed. Use thunderwave.
If dialga somehow uses roar of time, use mirror move.
If all of your moves run out of PP, use Geo Pebbles, or Gravelrocks.

Figures, I go back to battle it with about 10 reviver seeds and I don't even use one. *credits roll* *climbs the Tower again*

Dialga is Dragon-Steel type, so use Fighting type, is the Steel weakness

Pay attention, I already beat then went again and recruited Dialga farther up in the topic. And I need a rescue. Also if you think I'm playing Diamond you're wrong. Dialga is easy in Diamond. I'm playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2.
