Title: So …
Description: Can't believe I'm about to ask this.

The most OFF THE WALL question I could think of. Not because it's on my take-home test. ;)
Which president was the first one to be impeached?
I think it may be Andrew Johnson, but he was acquitted by one vote in the Senate. Even so, doesn't that make him the first to be impeached or not?

I don't know if there ever was a president that impeached. President Nixon was on the brink of being impeached but he resigned so as far as I know there isn't any.

Well, I do know that somebody was impeached, that's for sure. One was arrested for speeding on his horse (the idiot …).
Another man was tried, because he hit an old lady. Apparently, she stepped out in front of his car (she lived, by the way).
Unfortunately, this topic didn't get as far as I thought it would. And I was expecting Nemo to come and help me out here. -_-
I'll close this topic tomorrow morning.

Andrew Johnson was the first president to be impeached. I checked Wikipedia, and it highlighted that.

Phew, okay. I checked many other sites, but forgot Wikipedia. O_0
Thanks for confirmation, mega rock. Without further ado …
