Blade_xeno - June 8, 2008 07:31 PM (GMT)
I can only get ideas to work, and the game looks all messed up,any help?

FEV Nemo - June 8, 2008 07:34 PM (GMT)
NoCashGBA 2.6a

Blade_xeno - June 8, 2008 09:22 PM (GMT)
I downloaded the free version but I can only get gba games to play,ds games keep on saying can't read data or something.

StarForce - June 9, 2008 01:21 AM (GMT)
You have to set the correct save type. For No$GBA 2.6a, just put Auto, but for older versions, you have to try according to the game.

Blade_xeno - June 9, 2008 03:19 AM (GMT)
I can't find where set the save type.

Ice Pegasus - June 9, 2008 04:59 AM (GMT)
It Should Be Flash 512K For Most Games... Like Starforce Said 2.6a Has An Auto Option. If You Want 2.6a there are a couple of sites that has it! e.g. www.gbxemu.com

Blade_xeno - June 9, 2008 05:26 AM (GMT)
Thanks,it works now,but how can I make it go faster and how do I save?

Chimeran - June 9, 2008 07:10 AM (GMT)
Just wondering, is 2.6a released for free now? I tried downloading it recently and it was still 2.6.

FEV Nemo - June 9, 2008 09:31 AM (GMT)
Nope and probably never will be. Martin didn't update his emu from ages and probably never again he will update it.

Well It depends On What Game You Are Trying To Play... What Game Are You Trying To Run?

blazedout - June 10, 2008 12:58 AM (GMT)
if you have no$gba 2.6a just use automatic.

StarForce - June 14, 2008 02:39 AM (GMT)
Disabling sound can give you a lot of speed, but playing without sound is boring, in my opinion. Also, in No$GBA 2.6 and later, use NoCash 3D renderer instead of OpenGL. It's faster.

You can also close applications in the background to gain performance. Disable all eyecandies for your desktop and try stopping some Windows' services (Do that with caution).

If it still runs too slow, consider an update to your hardware (mostly processor).

SpaceMan++ - June 16, 2008 12:35 AM (GMT)
Use NO$GBA 2.6, it's the latest and best.
Please use unofficial sites to download NO$GBA or you need to donate to that site

They work for me, and only Call of Duty 4 was at a point of a REALLY slow gameplay. That NO$GBA runs the games well.

ForteCrossmega34 - July 17, 2008 09:43 PM (GMT)
I've been having the same problem as blade and now I can get the games to work! And does anyone know which keys the a,b,x,y buttons are set to?

Little Nemo - July 18, 2008 08:08 AM (GMT)
Press F11 and in the Emulation tag change Emulation Speed to Unlimited .. Disaster 10%; Sound Output - None; 3D Render - NoChash.

For controls, look at Controls tab.

Thank you kind sir
I couldn't play without knowing the keys
