tales of syphonia is an RPG that uses no turns and has lots of linkable and playable charectors and endings.

It's a very good game because the battles are fast paced. Sadly in ToS2 Knights of Ratotosk you have 2 permanent characters and the others filling the spot are guest characters or monsters you raise. Thats what I have heard up till now. And they also plan on using a map interface to do your travel instead of walking around on the world map, which kinda deteriorates the the first ToS feel of the game.
