Title: Company Terminals
admin - April 28, 2007 05:22 AM (GMT)
Every company in the game will have one or more company terminals. Company terminals are located in cities of the company CEO's choice and represent primary operation centers for your company. Company terminals provide a 10% bonus for goods delivered to a city with a company terminal. Company terminals appear on the map as blue markers where as non-company terminal city locations appear as red markers on the map. Each company can have up to 20 terminals. Each company is allowed to select one headquarter terminal.
Headquarters provide 25% reduction in the cost of fuel and repairs for drivers who are currently in the headquarter city and NOT currently in-route. In addition to the reduced fuel and repair fees, there is no fatigue point penalty for refueling or repairing your truck while at a company terminal.
The first company terminal costs $5,000. After that the formula for terminals is based on the following equation:
Terminal Cost = (5000 * 1.5) * Num Company Terminals
The cost of terminals signifigantly increases once a company reaches 10 terminals and again at 15 terminals.

The HQ can be changed once every 14 days like your home city.
Terminals can be sold (and rebought)
Preferred cargo can be changed every 2 days
:)

What price do you get when you sell a terminal? Is it $5,000?
If you sell terminal 2, then buy a replacement, is the cost calculated as though 2nd terminal ($7,500) or 3rd ($10,000)?

Can the terminal bonus be stacked on the prefered cargo bonus and a top 5 cargo bonus all at once, or does just one apply.

Surely the price of new terminals should go down not up as you buy them, as your company will become more expirienced at building them.

nnnnot really. jobs like that are outsourced. realistically they'd be the same cost every time, or more expensive for a bigger utility if you have 100 drivers as opposed to ten, like some companies. but for balance sake, admins' forced to jack up the price each time.

So if the first terminal is $5000, and the formula is used for each terminal after the first, how can a constant formula change so that the cost significantly increases at 10 and 15??
I read the formula as this:
7500 * 1 = 7500 for second
7500 * 2 = 15000 for third
7500 * 3 = 22500 for fourth
etc, etc....
So with each terminal the cost goes up only 7500 consistantly. Or does a variable change that is not explained?

Not trying to be a pain, but could i please get an answer??? As of now, I see the cost going up at a static rate. Is there something else to it??

I'm not sure the cost breakdown after 10 but terminal 11 is $150,000 not sure what the rest will be, anyone have the formula for the last 10? I have been searching with no luck at all.

Again, not trying to be a pain here. But it seems this post has been skipped. Could we get the information/formula for how the last 10 are calculated please?
Thanks a million!

hey admen i was wondering if you were gonna make it eventually so that a company could have 20 terminals in N. America and 20 terminals in Europe.
x-cuse me if this has already been asked but i don't feel like reading all of the other post right now
