Just Like Real Life Job Seeking; Do Plenty Of Research, Don't Be Scared To Talk To Folks, Don't Apply To The First Company That Sends You A Recruitment Letter, Get Multiple Options

Don't join the biggest company just b/c they are the biggest...maybe you will feel like you fit in...but then again you may feel like a number rather than a person.
Research look at Collection rates, than look at assistance rates and than look at company discounts...base all this on your decision.
And I'll do the warning for the mods since none of them have not come in yet...Tread carefully people, do not advertise your company specifically...if you have some suggestion for a way for this person to look at companies great...I'm trying to keep ya'll from getting a warn (TRUST ME)!

U have to admit Jeff that is worth a good laugh, coming from a guy with such a big ad in his signature!...Nothing wrong with that...Im just sayin
jefffan24 - November 20, 2008 12:30 AM (GMT)
I'm allowed to have that in my sig...and that goes in every post...that is allowed....You are not allowed to advertise in a post...read up on the rules before you start blaming people ok.

I know the rules Jeff. Notice I didnt even put my company name in here. I wasnt "blaming" you for anything. I just said you have to admit that it is funny, and of course I know it is allowed. Its ok, Im not saying its wrong.

I'm doing whats right...I have been here a long time...a lot longer than you, and I'm on here way more than you are...I know where the lines are and I can just see some unexpection person to put their company name here and get warned...I don't want that too happen so I warned people...okay that all...Now lets get back on topic, does anybody else have anything to add?

OK back to the topic. Colt's Fan you might want to consider spending some time with one of the larger more successful companies in the game. A big company will give you a little more diversity in game playing styles and more total experience. The larger companies will also expose you to the contract system and how it works. Even if you prefer to go it alone it is certainly a good idea for you to learn as much about the game and experience every aspect before deciding. You never know, you might just decide that you prefer being part of a team and contributing to the team success. I know I have found that it makes the game a lot more interesting. Just my opinion.

Ok there, jeffy. From the forum rules & guidelines:
Trukz Company Recruiting
Topics regarding company recruitment are limited to the one thread in the Trukz Companies Forums. Topics that attempt purely to recruit for a certain company will be locked and deleted, the topic starter may or may not be warned. Recruiting on the CB radio is NOT ALLOWED.
I don't see where it says I can't mention what company I work for in a post. I know you think you're trying to help people with your "expertise" but you come off as a bit of an arrogant (insert non-warn getting noun here) sometimes.

You can mention WHAT company you are in, but you can't say anything that says "Join this company, because that's where I am..."

Go ahead advertise your company on here and see what happens...go ahead push the limits...I will just sit back and do this: ROFLMAO

Perhaps the rules need an update. It seems absurd that I could have 8 lines in my sig recruiting people, the name of my company used in my custom member title but I'm screwed if I were to type the name here.
Anyway, on to the laughs for jeffy. I'm not sure what you'll be laughing at though, the fact that nothing happens to me or the fact that the mods can't get you off by banning someone.
Back to the original topic: I wouldn't be where I am today without the help of a company, it just so happens that I chose to join THCM Euro Corp. Joining a decent company will be an asset to you, check out the link BDM posted above, do some research and do what you feel is best for you. This is not an advertisement nor an attempt to recruit anyone.

Well, I'm looking to possibly make a switch. I like my company, good guys, help out, good assistance, but no contracts. I see that is where you make the money. What company has plenty of NA long haul contracts?

Now, companies can not advertise themselves, but just look at the view all companies page on trukz.com and sort the contracts column. Of course, look at other information, as contracts are not the only important thing.
