random events that occur while driving, if you pass you get a fatigue point back, if you fail you lose a fatigue point making "general repairs"

Isnt something like this already in the game? Like tickets for exceeding HOS and driving above legal load limits etc?

Not really hes talking about when a big truck gets pulled into a weigh station or pulled over and mr. dot says i'm going to be doing a inspection. There are different classes of inspections. I think my father had the highest level of inspection where they pull you in the garage put on coveralls and go through everything on the truck. which is very very time consuming around 1-2 hours. if you pass you get an inspection sticker in the window saying that you passed. And my father did pass his inspection in all points between log book and mechanical.

Does it seem wrong to anyone else that "the man" can stop anyone on the road (whom is driving a commercial vehicle) with no reason whatsoever, and detain them for as long as their "inspection" takes.

Ok jokes over, bring back the constitution.

They are Public roads and "The Man" owns/runs the Public roads, so as far as I'm concerned they can stop anybody and everybody for whatever they want whenever they want.

Not to get too far off-topic here, but it's along the same lines, when I see people walking down the street talking on the cell phone I walk up by them and start tying to listen to what the conversation is, or start talking into the cell phone, until they tell me something about how it's a private conversation, and I just laugh at them and tell them that they are in Public, there is no such thing as anything being Private when you are in public.

Hey, in Connecticut anyway cops can pull you over if they think you do not have your seatbelt on.

In michigan, they put up signs saying that seat belt sting is going on, so people know way ahead of time to put it on, I don't get that, they look right at you to make sure you have it on, and who wouldn't if they seen the signs saying they're looking right now. That doesn't make any sense.
