The following details the available member positions and titles in the game:

CEO - Company CEOs are the guys at the top and have the option to specify member titles, wages, and specific percentages on collections, repair assistant, refuel assistance, and ticket assistance for every member of their company. This allows CEOs to fine tune their operations and provide specific allocations to specific members as deemed necessary. When a CEO provides a member with custom member specific collections, repair assistant, refuel assistance, and ticket assistance these allocations will overide the default allocations of collections, repair assistant, refuel assistance, and ticket assistance that are set for the entire company.

Vice President - This is the #2 position in the company behind the company CEO. The one member set as the Vice President of a company can be handed the CEO position if the company CEO decides to step down. This is a manual process that only the company CEO can peform. If the CEO retires, resets their account, or is deleted for inactivity the Vice President WILL NOT be handed the CEO position and the company will be liquidated as usual. Vice Presidents are given all the same acess as the company CEO.

Finance Manager - Any member with this title will work in the finance department for your company and will be provided access to view the full company ledgers as well as company ledger search functions. Multiple members can be set as Finance Managers.

Communications Manager - Any member with this title will work in the communications department for your company and will be provided with access to create and manage company bulletins. Multiple members can be set as Communication Managers.

HR Manager - Any member with this title will work in human resources for your company will be provided with access to hire and fire drivers as well as provide company members with specific member percentages, wages, and titles. Multiple members can be set as HR Managers.

Contract Manager - Any member with this title will be responsible for seeking out and bidding on contracts that the company is interested in. The CEO and Vice President of the company also have Contract Manager access to bid on contracts.

Driver - This is a title position only and does not provide any benefits over the default None title. This position is generally used once a rookie driver has shown that they can make it in the company.


Members with access (CEOs, VPs, & HR Managers) may also provide up to 8 members with paid company positions called waged positions. Wages allow companies to pay specific members in the company extra wages for whatever function deemed necessary. The position wage is based on a percentage of the company's end route collection percentage. (ie. A company with an end route collection percentage of 50% will give a member position that pays 10% wages a total collection of 5% of every end route collection earned by the company.) Company members with access can also specify an unlimited number of company titles for members within their company. The default title is "None" for every driver but the company is free to create any kind of company organizational structure by setting individual member titles as deemed necessary.

Yes. You can have multiple everything except CEO and VP.

So, does 8 waged members include CEO, VP, HR, etc;?

I don't really see why the finance manager doesn't have the ability to change the wages/percentages of discounts on gas, repairs, etc. that the members in his or her Company get, he/she is the finance manager after all.

The finance managers in a couple of companies I've worked for in RL have only dealt with bill payments, customer accounts and things of that nature. They had nothing to do with wages or employee benefits (basically what fuel/repair are in game). That job really was an HR function.

From what this says I guess they can only view the company ledgers.

Is it possible to set one guy for every position, for example the CEO is also the Finance, Comms. HR and Contract managers too?

That wouldn't make any sense, the CEO can already do everything listed under each position.

So you don't have to appoint Finance, Comms. HR and Contract managers when you start a new company?

Nope look at CF they only have 3 officers.

I think that you should be able to give members multiple roles. For example someone could be a contract manager and an HR manager.

I like that also, or at least have the CEO be able to give authority to say the Finance Manager to also be able to bid on contracts. I would like this because I am both the Finance Manager and Contract Manager when we are looking at getting a contract.

Something along the lines of a forum permissions system would be a great idea. I've already suggested this and it is being worked on.

I am the finance mgr but I would like to have access to posting bulletins to help our drivers make more money. Like let them know where the good freight is. Can the finance mgr do that, if not which positions have that access? :unsure: Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. Didn't really know where to post it :rolleyes:

The only ones that can post bulletins are CEO, VP, and Comms. Manager

I also like this idea as many times our CEO had to change my titles depending on what we were doing at the time and our VP was inactive. We had a major recruitment going on and the HR was out of the country at the time. When we were waiting for the ever elusive glass to show up outside of JAX he had to make me comm mgr at route changes because our CM isn't up that late at night....

Being able to give multiple roles to company officers is an excellent idea and I am glad to see that it may be in the works.

i see that as the hr i can fire everybody but the ceo whats up with that i will have to ask vp for a raise if i dont get it maybe i'll fire him :D

Nope...this was mentioned as a suggestion several times (check the forums there but don't gravedig!) but for now, you need to be a specific position member to do those position-specific things.
