How About An Option On The Select Route Screen On The Cities Poppup Window, That Shows Contracts That Need Help Fulfilling. Companies Could Charge the O/O Its Normal Collection Fee + 1% to 2% Brokerage Fee, And The O/O's Responsibility Is Fuel/Repair Expenses...Driver Must Not Have Any Ties Or Connections To Any Company, And Companies Would Benefit By Getting Contracts Filled!

I disagree. The object in the game is for your company to act as one and your company shouldnt be able to bid on a contract that it cant realisticly complete...

This is how a smaller company can get ahead. Real companies bring in help to complete a large contract or complete a job, then the people they brought in leave. A little thing called contractors.

I think its a bad idea because contracts are there to benefit the company bidding on them, so why bid on a contract larger than you can handle and rely on people to come save your @$$. It would help the little people but... they could just join a company instead could they not?

Well at least stop big companies from bidding & taking small contracts, dang leave us small companies something to run!!! Most companies have drivers that wont haul contract freight for whatever reason &/or unreliable drivers, why be penalised for them or uncontrollable circumstances?

I can't say I agree or disagree with this idea.
However, in RL, trip leasing is a way of life. In my case when I was driving, we hauled magazines (Time, Life, Fortune, etc) from the printing plants to post offices across the country. When enough drivers were not available, we would get another company to trip lease drivers (with their tractor-trailer) to help out, to get the magazines delivered on time. This was especially true this time of year or any other holiday season.

i kinda agree but the point is to get one that you can handle and not need help

Another factor to consider is that the system might be construed as double-brokering. Something that is generally frowned upon the the industry.
