Title: Forced Re-fuel

Kurtvtx - November 30, 2008 04:24 PM (GMT)
I had 7 gallons of fuel left, and I could not take another leg. I was under the impression that when one got to 5 gallons, it would not let you take another leg. Was I wrong? This is not the first time, either. It really sucks wasting a FP just to put fuel in, when I could have made the trip without. Not to mention the fact that I wasn't going to keep the truck, so the fuel is all wasted.

U would have had to have enough fuel to take that leg at the speed limit posted. Cutting back to the miles left in the trip doesnt help. We have all been there.

I thought admin himself had said that it was at 5 gallons that it was restricted. I guess I just need to buy the extra fuel goodies. When I fly I try to figure the mileage real close so as not to lose any extra depreciation.

So if you were going to sell it, buy the minimum amount and you will not lose that much.

I refueled to 25 %, which was 61 more gallons. I had 62 gallons left when I sold the truck. Clearly that was 61 gallons I just did not need.
