I was wondering why Sweetchuck is now a moderator on the forums. I see he just joined in November. I do not understand why someone so new became a mod. so quickly. I don't mean this as an insult. I just want to know. Did he used to have a forum account but made a new one? Does he know one of you in Real Life? Because it does not seem fair to be under the control of someone so new, if that is what he/she is (new). Again, I do not mean this as an insult to anyone.

I have noticed that too. The only way I think he could be a Mod is if he is part of OMAC. If not, he must have somehow talked the Admin into it because I have tired to become one, and they said that it was very unlikely that I would get that.. So I don't know.

It's not based on who's been here longer, but who will do the best job as a Moderator. The Mod Team has decided.

I simply asked and gave them some background information. I have quite a bit of experience doing similar tasks in other places. Honestly, I'm not totally sure why it was me and not someone else, but I can say I'm going to try very hard to earn my place and the respect of the forum members. I don't expect to be suddenly respected just because I'm a mod.

And to address the other stuff that was mentioned, I did not have another account, but had been lurking on here since I joined Trukz about 6 months ago.

Thank you very much for coming straight to me to ask. I really appreciate the honesty. I may post a reply to the thread that was started if the other mods feel it is appropriate, but I'm waiting to discuss things first.

Only the admin can ban people from the game. Unless you mean ban them in the forums..

Banned from forums= banned in-game, too.

Alpert- I respect the decision you guys made, it just made me a little nervous that some random new guy became moderator.

Don't worry, you guys will all warm up to him. And the decision is who we feel best fits the position. Someone could be on here all the time but could have gotten warns and not understood the rules of the boards. He has a lot of experience, and since certain people on the mod staff have been busy, we thought we could use an extra hand, and he fit the position. I think he will do a fine job, and you will all become used to him very soon.

All right. I was just curious. I have been satisfied. This can be closed now. Or left open as a welcome thread for Sweetchuck.

Whyen you ban someone in the forums, it's different in the game. To be banned in-game, the admin has to do it. No mod or adminstrator can do it from the forums here because they are two different things ;)
