Would it be possible to ban companies from Bidding on Contracts for a week or 2 that continuously Bid on Contracts that they can not fulfill? The more Incompleted Contracts said companies has, the longer it is before they can Bid again...Also how about 3 or 4 more NA Contracts nitely, 50 or less loads to get the price outta the gutter? Just an idea...Thanks

if you are a skilled enough bidder you can get the contract for a decent price

I remember a little something close to the same thing. Why should a company be penalized, to bid, for getting a contract they think they can handle and then come up a few loads short? Isn't the penalty we get from it enough? I've had it happen to us more than once, where we get a contract we figured we could handle and then come up a few loads short. Personally I think that is a bad idea.

Maybe if it becomes a common thing. Like, 3 or 4 failed contracts in a month results in getting banned form bidding for maybe half a week to a week?

There is a certain unnamed company that finished November with 3 failed contracts & October with 5.

LoL @ "unnamed company".
if you can not complete the contract you already get a hefty enough penalty. that alone should stop people from bidding on contracts who have no chance of finishing.
If you are willing to take a risk of getting a contract that you can not complete then hey you pay the penalty it is more than worth it to get your drivers some good money even if it costs the company some.
Not a good idea at all.
If you are gonna be held from bidding if you do not complete a contract then there should be no penalty fee.

Yep, I agree with Awwniga - plus, in the past we have had a couple large, high paying contracts that we fell a few loads short on - but the total company collections on the loads delivered more than covered the penalty and the drivers made a killing - it's just one of the factors that good contract mangers consider when deciding what to bid on.

Now that I think about it, I agree with you guys. No additional penalty should be added.
