Title: Purchase Items
Sonny Pruitt - December 3, 2008 04:28 AM (GMT)
If I buy an item that says good until so and so of a date does that mean it only lasts that long then you have to but a new one or what?
Sweetchuck - December 3, 2008 04:32 AM (GMT)
Yes, that means on that date, that item will "expire" and on the following day you'll need to buy it again if you still want it.

Each item only lasts a certain length of time. On the good until date, it will expire and you will no longer have the benefits of that item.

I find it pointless and not realistic, it should expire by mileage not by date, also its kinda a waste of money.
Sweetchuck - December 3, 2008 09:28 PM (GMT)
Trust me, when you get to the point that some of this stuff expires, you'll be looking for stuff to spend money on...
Oh, but I do agree about the mileage thing.

Well, most of the time, people end up selling their truck to upgrade before the item expires, anyway.

Some things expire rather quickly, like the 'New Air Filter', so they do expire before people up their truck I'd guess. But for the most part you're right.

i understand with the whole buy a new truck deal, but i have been saving up for this truck i just bought and plan on keeping it a while, so now i have to wait till these items expire so i can buy up new and not have to re-buy them in January.
TurboTeg - December 4, 2008 04:40 AM (GMT)
You can sell the items at any time, at a daily depreciated value of course.
PHANTOM151 - December 4, 2008 05:28 AM (GMT)
You do not have to wait in till January. All of the items experation dates change for you daily at midnight game time. For example if i would buy the toolbox today 12/3/08 it would be good until 12/3/09, but if I buy it tomorrow it will be good until 12/4/09. Each item has different expiration dates depending on what it is in intervals of 30, 60, 90 and 180 days and then one year. Hope this helps. Good luck.
