I'm a little confused about the cost of fuel.
I just filled my 200 Gallon tank when there was only 6 Gallons left and the Fuel Price was $2.05. My company gives me a discount of 25% at the moment. Yet the cost to me was only $268.36. Shouldn't the cost have been $298.27:
Fuel Price: 2.05 less 25% discount = $1.5375
194 Gallons @ 1.5375 = $298.27
Or am I missing something?
Obviously I am not complaining about saving $30 but I would like to understand why!
your company will have the "fuel purchase item discount" this takes another 10% off the cost of your fuel after the 25% has been taken off.
