not bad its good aussie needs road trains

maybe you could only use road trains in ausie too...so when you were in NA and EU you could only haul a max of 61,000 but when in ausie you can haul 75k or whatever you had suggested.

Road Train Endorsement: 150,000$ Only usable in Austrailia.

Allows you to haul +35000 lbs over the legal limit. Requires 125 DR

jefffan24 - December 7, 2008 01:37 PM (GMT)
I don't think 125 is high enough maybe 150...

Because it goes:

10
25
50
100

to go to 125 I just don't think is a big enough jump for being able to haul 15,000 more than the next highest endorsement.

Yeah, it would have to be only available in Australia.

I'd say 175.. but that may be too high.

150 sound good only use in aussi and can only use on routes over 1000 miles

jefffan24 - December 7, 2008 03:05 PM (GMT)
Sounds good to me...but it does sound like its going to take a good amount of coding (at least compared to the other endorsements).

BRANDON - December 7, 2008 03:07 PM (GMT)
ok it sounded good with like 125dr or even 150dr now were getting picky and cant use it for routes shorter then 1000miles i know there is alot of runs longer then that in AU, but dang to me its getting to complex

Remember Truckz uses the KISS method.

KISS = KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID

No need to go adding the less than 1000 miles idea. Everything else can be done with the code for the current endorsements, with a snippet from the Truck continent code I'd guess.

Sounds like a top idea i would be all for it... If you think about it Australia is much smaller than NA or EU and would be much harder to make the same money as say NA but with these so called Road Trains it would be a bit easyer.... And i agree with brandon don't make it hard with that 1000 miles thing i rekon 150dr and it will cost $150k...

SIRO CONVOY - December 8, 2008 04:45 AM (GMT)
Like this idea also.. :D

"You have ran over debris on your last leg. You now have 37 flat tires. These must be repaired before continuing. Repairing 37 tires will cost $18,500 and 10 fatigue points."

Heh heh steve, thats terrible. :D.

This stupid topic keeps getting a certain song in my head every time I check these forums. Its a good idea though, certainly something I think should be considered to give Aus a bit of a boost.

*wonders off murmuring "People all over the world. Join hands. Start a love train, lovveeee train" over and over under his breath*

Mike-WJ - December 8, 2008 09:47 PM (GMT)
Aus only
150 or 200 Dr,, 125 is way too low
$150k or $200k, its gotta be expensive
haul 70k lbs. for that amount of money, skip 65

I kinda like the idea of it only applying to routes over a thousand miles, but that might be hard to code in

csmdad - December 9, 2008 01:54 PM (GMT)
Ooh... can we have just a huge train that stretches from one city to the next and as people are loading the cargo, others are unloading it from the other side? It'd save me HUGE on fuel, repairs, tickets...

Mbolism - December 11, 2008 01:05 AM (GMT)
Great idea.
