Title: Bush resigning

Before January 20,2009 Bush is going to resign and Cheney will become President. Cheney will then appoint Condolesa Rice as Vice President. Cheney will then resign and Rice will become the first African/American and the first woman to become President. Obama and Hillary are not as smart as they think they are.

Too bad line of sucession wouldn't be applicable here....
For it to apply Bush and Cheney would both have to die, be incapacitated or otherwise unable to do their duties...
If Bush did resign, Cheney would sworn in as President. He would then select who he wants to be the VP. The Senate would then have to hold ratification hearings, just like with cabinent members.

Line of succession would be applicable, to a point. If the president would resign, the VP would take over. But a new VP would not get rattified before the President Elect takes over. Obviously we can all see that this is a joke/dumb idea.
