Title: Driver Profile Refuel Options
admin - May 7, 2007 10:55 PM (GMT)
When you access your Edit My Driver screen you'll notice two fields that relate for truck refuels.
Refuel Option - In this drop down you'll see the options of Quick Refuel and Specify Amount. Chooising Quick Refuel will allow you to refuel your truck at the refuel percentage that you select without showing any additional screens before your truck is refueled. Choosing Specify Amount will provide you with one additional screen that will allow you to tinker with various refuel percentages to pick just the right amount of fuel that you want to buy before refueling your truck. The default option for new drivers is Quick Refuel.
Refuel Percent - For drivers with Quick Refuel as their option this is the percentage of fuel you will receive each time you refuel your truck. If you decide to stay with Quick Refuels then you'll need to edit your driver profile every time you need to refuel if you need a refuel percentage different than your last Refuel Percent selection. If you want to have more control over you truck refuels then choose Quick Refuel in the refuel option descrived above.

B) It would be cool if gas at the rest stops was cheaper than out on the open road, even though I know it's random.

Fuel is always $2.50 in cities.

$2.50, that is without discount?

Fuel prices are always listed as without discount. The discount is only calculated when you click to buy and the system confirms the price for you.

It's always 2.50 when you stop somewhere. If you're at a company terminal or HQ, the price is effectively 1.88.

If your company has fuel assistance of 10%, for instance, will the price of
a) the fuel at any terminal outside of company terminal be reduced?
B) the fuel at company terminal be reduced?
c) the fuel at company headquarter be reduced?
d) the fuel when you are in route and travelling be reduced?
And how much will they be reduced?
Thanks for your help. It is highly appreciated.

Yes to all of the above, but it's not technically a reduced price, the company is just paying for 10% of it.

That's true for the fuel assistance percentage, but if the company purchases the fuel discount item, the only expenditure the company makes is for the item itself, correct? The 10% discount doesn't come from company coffers, it just reflects a volume pricing discount. But that discount is good everywhere for company members, not just at company terminals, correct?
