Title: Important Announcement – New Development Team

admin - July 29, 2008 06:03 AM (GMT)
This announcement is in regards to some important changes that are coming to the site soon. Over the past several months I have been unable to give the level of attention into the development Trukz that the game deserves do to time constrains and commitments elsewhere. Trukz has come a long way since I began developing the game a little over a year ago but progress has slowed considerably over the past few months due to those constraints and Trukz is worthy of far more development and progress than I am able to provide at this time. There are a great number of fantastic suggestions that have been made directly to me and in the forum suggestion box that I simply have not had the time to address or even consider.

Because of this I have decided to allow another company, OMAC Industries, to take over operations and the continued development of Trukz. OMAC has a great amount of experience in the online gaming industry and they will have a dedicated team of professionals devoted specifically to Trukz. Over the next few months I will remain involved with the site and will be working with the OMAC team to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible during the transition process. While we will do everything that we can to ensure that the transition goes smoothly, users may experience some brief interruption in game play however, rest assured that we will take whatever measures necessary to offset any in-game penalties for any site downtime. Once the transition process is over OMAC will be fully in charge of running the game and will begin be moving into the development & improvement side of things.

OMAC will do everything in their power to protect your user information as aggressively as I have, however the Trukz website terms and conditions do limit me from providing your account information to 3rd parties without your permission. As such, if you absolutely do not wish to be a part of the transfer you may retire your driver account via the 'Edit My Driver' link in-game and upon taking that action within the next week none of your personal information will be transferred over to OMAC.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here developing Trukz and interacting with the community and I look forward to watching the game and the community grow under the leadership of OMAC. I ask the community to welcome and continue to support the OMAC team as they introduce themselves over the coming days and I highly recommend that you get involved and work with them to put your best ideas forward for the future development of the game.
