Title: Legal load limit issue
Immunogenic - October 16, 2008 06:35 PM (GMT)
I have an issue.
When I started my route from Fort Calhoun to Yucca Mountain my legal limit was 61,000lbs, earlier on today some 12 hours ago) when I woke and left for work my legal load limit was still at 61,000 lbs and I had all my items in my inventory as usual and there were no problems during the day while running the route. However when I got back home and was close to ending my route I noticed my legal load limit was in red. I thought nothing of it as it was fine earlier in the day clicked on one of the route and got fined with a ticket and charge 70 miles from the end of my route. I then noticed that I no longer had my aluminium wheels.
Can this be looked into as I have lost driver rating because of it and started the route in good faith within the legal limit.

Wow - interesting. Your Aluminum Wheels expired mid-run, thus exposing you to the overage. I suppose you could have immediately repurchased the wheels and been ok...but still, that's an intriguing situation.

Wow this is a weird one. I never knew that if they expired mid-run that it could cause that.. Wow. But yea, I agree with DMW.. You could have repurchased them..

wow what a flaw... he could not have purchased them though if he didnt know they had expired...

Well I am sure he could have guessed it because his limit was in the red.

yea but tires are not the only thing that affect load limit...

I think if you start a run with the wheels you should be exempt from overload tickets if they expire half way through, just as you are if your limit decreases because of wear.

Yeah I guess I should have checked again when I noticed it was red but it didn't connect since I thought I was fine. Not to mention that when I checked in the morning I thought I checked on the date of everything since my truck condition is deteriorating.

Really. I mean in real life if you have aluminum wheels, they dont just disappear in the middle of your route!

If you go to your Items page it will tell you how long your purchased items are good until. This situation is like a part breaking down mid-route because of wear and tear which we won't compensate you for.
