Lydias - November 6, 2008 04:54 PM (GMT)
We hope you will enjoy the new addition to the game and give a big welcome to the long-anticipated continent of Australia!

More contracts will be available soon so don't worry!

OMG I WANT THAT 2010 MACK!!!!!

The 2010 Mack Titan should be in NA as well. Since it is out in NA. You can order one right now from the mack dealer. Plus the picture you guys show is the NA titan and not the AU titan. So please make the 2010 Mack Titan be for NA as well. Or chabge the picture atleast to the AU titan.

Drakebuster - November 6, 2008 05:43 PM (GMT)
Now, are we gonne be allowed to get more than 20 terminals? There are alot of cities available, but 20 terminals is still limiting.

actafool4187 - November 6, 2008 09:47 PM (GMT)
Woohoo!

War Man - November 6, 2008 10:36 PM (GMT)
I agree, more than 20 terminals is now neccesary with the new continent.

Edit- I actually do not think more terminals are needed. No company except CF is going to spread its-self across three continents and still be successful as a company.

Or managing your terminals wisely is now more important than ever.... <devil>

Yea...... I dont say add 20 more, because it will be costing you millions!!!!

Mr Bear - November 7, 2008 12:02 AM (GMT)
All of the Australian trucks that are originally from America, like the new Peterbilt, or Titan, or one of those Volvos should be avaible on America as well, because they are american trucks.

Mr Bear - November 7, 2008 12:26 AM (GMT)

SnowMan13 - November 7, 2008 06:04 AM (GMT)

Having Australia has only made the game better in so many ways, thanks for adding it :D

SnowMan13 - November 7, 2008 03:12 PM (GMT)
its not that bad it fly over there. $718. i thought it would be higher.

SIRO CONVOY - November 7, 2008 03:27 PM (GMT)
With the amount of drivers heading this way the country is going to sink with all these extra trucks running around ROFLMAO

Drakebuster - November 7, 2008 04:42 PM (GMT)
Gonna leave U.S. in a recession,.......oh wait we're already there.

Polar Bear 1 - November 7, 2008 06:32 PM (GMT)
More contracts is great, but my company only has 2 drivers, with 1 being inactive for 2 days now. I seem to earn more money over here in Austrialia than in NA, so I brought a terminal at Alice Springs.

dshban - November 8, 2008 09:38 PM (GMT)
Just a thought: I'm not sure why the picture when you arrive in Horsham is of a beautiful sunny beach when Horsham is in bushland hundreds of miles from any beach that looks like that. It'd be like giving St Louis a beach picture, although looking at the name of the file I see it's called "generic" so that might explain things.

This is my NA truck, and i know a lot of people like it... but its really similar to the AU Volvo except the load limit is 7000 off, and the price is 2000 different and the NA one comes with 7000 less miles... i just dont see why the AU truck is not even close to as good... or useful really.... when its only 2 grand cheaper.

2007 Volvo VNM64T

i dont see how this works out properly, why is it that someone with an oversized endorsement cant really use this truck without a low gear ratio and repairing before every trip... which im not going to do because it will harm my efficiency, i was just wondering if that truck could be altered, or maybe another AU truck around that price that can haul a little bit more?

I agree.

Plus it would be an easy way to add new trucks to NA (which we all look forward too ;) ).

Trucks are different around the world, plain and simple. Maybe trucks are more expensive in general in Australia in RL?

-WarMan v2

Ceefood - November 9, 2008 11:42 PM (GMT)
most vehicles of all types are more expensive in Aus since we have to pay freight, import duties which are high and value of dollar compared to market. eg. a couple years ago I priced the Ford Mustang convertible - in USA about 30k in Aus cause its considered a luxury car price starts from 80k including all reasons above

Ceefood - November 9, 2008 11:57 PM (GMT)
Also I posted in bugs section but I thought I might post here too - Kalgoorlie is spelt wrong - it is listed as Kalgorlie

have a nice day

Just to let you know brandon the NA Titan and the Au titan are more diff. then just snorkles  .

Au doesnt have hard emisson laws like NA has. So the motors are alot diff. If im not mistakin you can still get the E-9 V-8 in a mack in AU. Mack stop them in the early 90s in the USA cuz they never would pass the emissons BS.

man talk about a massive flaw in cargo for australia.

18 of 35 cargos either dont have supply or destination right now..

Wvuneers74 - November 25, 2008 03:55 AM (GMT)
I don't cruise these boards too often, has a perm supplier list been posted for Austrailia? Thanks

Drow - November 26, 2008 12:15 AM (GMT)
the 95 mack titan is a great starter truck for aus too... much better than the peterbilt for only marginally more. cheers to OMAC for this change.
