First of all, Ch 92 is OUR cb channel

Last evening Evil Fuzzy from Atlantic Coast Transport came onto CB Channel 92 and started asking about our company and what it was like.......things like that.

We clearly responded in kind and engaged in friendly chat.

I was there (VP of Project Thunderbird), Potenza (CEO of Project Thunderbird) and Showtruck (VP of Project Phoenix). Both Project Thunderbird and Project Phoenix are divisions of each other.

I have been involved in TRUKZ for 1 1/2 yrs. Potenza for almost the same amount of time. We have NEVER recruited on any CB Channel and as a matter of fact, I have banned drivers from our company for doing just that

This morning, our CEO (potenza) informs me that he was warned last night for recruiting. I went to the post in the MODERATION section (which is no longer in there by the way) and Gravedigger has responded that it was resolved. Resolved how....by warning us about a driver coming onto our channel and asking us about how we do things and what it was like here?......so we invited him to join us, as he was stating derogatory things about his own company and WE get warned for it.

I immediately sent an in-game EMAIL to Gravedigger and did NOT receive a response.

Upon seeing this section, I am requesting an answer why we got this warning.....in a civil manner

When the complaint was made by ph4life from ACT, the transcript he posted neglected to show his own driver baiting us and asking what our company was like, and questions we just naturally answered on our OWN channel

Next thing we know, Gravedigger warns our CEO for recruiting

That is ridiculous....in our OWN channel?

Gravedigger had, in my opinion, no right to warn us about chatting it up in our OWN channel

We have NEVER recruited other CB Channels and NEVER will

Gravedigger could have at the very least asked our CEO about it or at the very least, responded to my email in a civil manner

I feel that the way the MODERATING team immediately reacts to complaints, without investigating, to be ridiculous.

Would it have been that hard to ask us our side of the story?......we have nothing to hide.....it is OUR CB channel

First of all, it is not YOUR CB channel. ANYONE can go and talk, recruiting on it is still a violation of Trukz ToS.

Second of all, I did not receive a PM from you in game or on the forums. If I would have, I would have responded.

Third, what I say looked like recruiting. It was just a warning, no big deal. If you don't recruit on the CB then you should have no problem.

Since this is not a dnr thread I will say my peace.

I honestly think it should be against the rules for mgt for any company to be a moderator on the forums. I feel that it goes against the grain so to speak.
Kind of like allowing American Trucking Association to make decisions on problems with real trucking companies.

Also allowing Moderators to advertise their company in signatures should not be allowed.

just APPEAL it after so many hours. why does it need to to be such a big deal the appeal is just a better way of going isnt it?

BTW fendt, he/she only got a warning for recruiting on the CB.

It makes it hard to appeal when it takes 2 threads repeated replies & pm's to get a real answer.

Thirdly, before warning, why did you not simply PM the CEO....is Modding that busy

You didn't get blamed for anything. I did write a PM. It was a warn. Just don't do it again and you won't get suspended. No big deal.

Here's what you don't get, ACT submitted an edited version of the cb transcript that left out part of the conversation. You warned me before I told you that, I was guilty before even investigated. So that means any company can copy & paste stuff out of the cb to make a case. Bad precedent.

In my opinion, that is Mod abuse right there......you must not have read our responses to the complaint.....you just derogatorily warned our CEO.

You didn't even take the time to see if we have any grounds for the warn to be lifted against our CEO

I would think that our in-game MODS, with the ultimate power to suspend, ban, approve, deny and 50 other rights, should take the time to find out the truth

Anyhow, I am done with this he said/she said garbage......................

I said it before and I say it again......this is the reason drivers get teed off and refuse to post in the forums, except the constant few who do

I don't care if he did ask about your company. Please reply in a PM. When ever we can we go back and look at the actual CB script to avoid that.

Gravedigger, I think you're missing the point: How can you not do something again that you didn't do in the first place?

To me that was recruiting. That is why I issue a warning only.

Great in theory except till you wait till the next day to check it. Then it becomes quilty till innocent.

Problem is...who warns a MOD for warning for no good reason or for warning a CEO or driver because of bogus complaints

Or is that just a hazard of the job?

Dig into the archives and read the whole thing for yourself, NOT just what the complaintaint wants you to read

Can u issue a warn to yourself if you were wrong?

A can of worms opened by an over reach by a mod. Now anyone being asked a question on the cb can be warned & susbended. Talk about dumb. I can see why drivers get fed up with the mods. This is my 1st dealing with you guys & I must say I find it very underwelming to be nice.

i dont have any problem with any mods on hear and i have been playing for a long time now

same here thay do what thay have to do and i have been playing for a long time to and have no problem with them

The last thing I have to say on this is all gravedigger did on this was give the ok for plp in the game to set up some one, with editing cb messages. He made a joke out of moderation. Good job.

I've been playing this game just about as long as Tymel and Potenza have. I know that even if a driver asks about your company you PM them. Now all he did was issue a warning. Get over it and move on. It's not that hard. I've been warned 1 time. IT'S JUST A WARNING.

EDIT: I have known grave for most of my Trukz career, and I don't think he would try to cheat anyone just for a stupid reason.. If the mod's have proof that a rule was broken, they go with their best judgment for the necessary action.

I think that the OP had a valid complaint and gravedigger resolved the complaint. Therefore the thread should be closed.

wow, I wouldve never posted in the game abuse thread if I knew it would work all you guys up so much. I DIDN'T edit any of that cb chat. I cut and paste what looked like the bulk of the recruiting, and left it at that. Any proof I edited it potenza? I'm sure the mods can scroll back and read EXACTLY what was typed.

Well, sorry for such a late response, but it needs to be dealt with, seeing as this hasn't been resolved, and I normally end things.

Gravedigger cares more about this game and its welfare more than anyone else playing, including myself and OMAC. He is always asking me how he can help, and he always asks me what he should do in certain situations. He has what it takes to do what I do (Lead Administrator). To be honest, he did the right thing in this situation.

I told him on day one, if you can't handle a situation, or you feel uncomfortable handling it, let it go, and myself or Jacob will deal with it. He did what I told him to do, and tried to get my attention, but I've been busy lately. So this is not his fault, it's mine.

To address "YOUR" CB Channel, it's clearly not yours, so every point you presented that had "OUR" channel, is completely invalid. You may use it, but it's not yours.

Finally, he doesn't need to explain himself. He, as a Mod, can do what he wants for the benefit of all, and doesn't have to answer to anyone, not even me. I would like him to, but if he feels he's doing the right thing, he is doing the right thing.

That's all I've got to say. You want to make a complaint about me, you're welcome to. But don't attack one of my Mods.

I would like to add gravedigger isn't being attacked. If he had handled all the issues & questions rather than just giving the sameone line answer repediatly this situation wouldn't have gotten out of hand. He did a poor job of moderating this situation.

Thank you for clarifying what a MODS responsibility is.......when clearly as pumperjuice pointed out in his post, this has happened before and NOTHING was done about it
