Yo all! I'm one of the one of a handful of members from TFD that decided to come here. After hearing TFD was closing it's doors, I started looking for a not to big but not to small site to go to. "The Rod" reminded me of AUG (and in case I forgot, thanks Rod) and here I am.

Also, I bring along two comic strips (one of which has ended). First, there's "Bull Slag", which is a screenshot driven comic that I ended earlier this year. I will be posting the archive of it later tonight. The other one is "The Adventures of W. and Raider". It uses a variety of toys as actors (though the main characters are G.I. Joes) and it's very much a fanfic (as it has a story arc) in a toy comic form. I'll start posting it one by one on Friday (probably posting one arc per week).

I'll stop before I start rumbling. :P

Think of AUG as a party. Mingle, have fun. Chat and goof off. The mods and admins are here just to make sure nobody gets hurt.

We're really laid back. You won't get banned for posting Prototypes or anything like that. There are no taboo subjects here. Just post 'em in their appropriate forum and it's all good.

We tend to play it by ear, but yeah having fun and enjoying the hobby is priority 1.

Now do you consider the f-bomb to be R-rated? I only ask so I'll know if I need to censor the few times I use it in my comic. Note that I drop the f-bomb very little in it (and I try on the net in general).

I don't know if we have a fuckin' rule like that. heh

We don't have too many word censor rules. I mean, cursing is allowed, as long as it isn't too gratuitous. Y'know, you can say the F-bomb once in a PG-13 movie.

I guess if you have something full of Carlin's 7 magic words it would be better placed in the RLD.

It's mainly up to mod discretion, but you won't be punished for it. Worst case scenario it'll be moved to the RLD.

Flames and such get sent to the Sharkticon Pit, where our resident trolls have their fun with it.
