Seriously, it was a joke. It wasn't even mainly directed toward you, but generally toward a group of the fandom that just do not like the direction they're going in with this.

You took extreme offense to this, stating the quote above in an extremely hostile method. You admitted you were a naysayer, but you got pissed off by being called it. That is like saying a watermelon saying "I am not a watermelon, I am a large green hard shelled fruit with a sweet pink pulp interior, sometimes with seeds in it." Then you try to defend yourself by saying how you liked the movie designs. Well, if we were discussing the movie designs, then there'd be no problem. I personally do not like the movie designs, thus that would make me a naysayer in that particular subject. But the movie designs was not the subject.

And as for the "joking response"... Well my dear sir, I did not read that as a joke. I read that as melodrama... The thing is had you NOT posted this line:

I would have easily assumed it was a joke.

You have some good points MachSabre, and I apologize for going awall. I quite simply felt that Roadbuster's comment was a bit derogatory and that he was clumping me in with the G1 purists, which I am not, and I find it offensive that someone would think that of me.

This is quite honestly the only version of Starscream I don't like. Heck, some of his other designs were even better looking than his G1 incarnation!
