Damn good use of a Valkarie

It's funny how he calls it a Matsushiro Jetfire, When Clearly it's a Yamato Valkarie...

A Matsushiro Jetfire is the same as the Bandai Jetfire from the 80's except for the RDF(Robotech) emblem on the left wing.

Maybe it's inspired by the Matsushiro Jetfire, But it is not one.

Not a bad custom, but just nothing "wow" about it. Maybe f it had another head under the helmet or something more than just a repaint. Eitherway, I had no idea they made Valkyrie figures that big.

Yeah, our spelling sucks. I knew it was wrong but was too lazy to look it up.

So does my spelling, I just knew Valkyrie had a "y" in it somewhere so I googled it :P

The 1/48 Valks are too big and expensive for me. I'm hoping, but not expecting, the new 1/60s will fix those issues. Also I suspect it's largely because of how blocky the Bandai head is, but I still don't like the VF-1S head sculpt... (Honestly I've always been more fond of the J head anyway.)
However those are gripes about the mold, which is the obvious choice for an MP Jetfire.


While I doubt I'd ever own one, I still like seeing these. <nitpick>The red and black chest stripes should be reversed from Hikaru's colors, but I never expect anyone to do it.</nitpick>

That reminds me, does anyone remember the Robotech game for the PS2? The main charcter's (new for the game) Valkyrie/Veritech was in Jetfire colors. To bad the game sucked...

I Love that game... I still Play it, hell It was better the Invasion, Even the GBA Battlecry was better then Invasion.... I Wanted to fly an Alpha Dayumit!!!!!!!!!

I have it too, still play it every so often (never solved it yet)

It was fun, not fantastic, but fun

I beat it like 4-5 times already... each time you see new stuff in the backrounds like the damaged SDF-3 class (Original, not the Shadow chonicles version) Battle fortress in the Zentradi debrie field in the outter space level,
And the Zentradi obital factory as well...

Also the "Long Live Khyron!!!" on the crashed crusier is a laugh.

I just wish Invasion had more playability and the control response wasn't
so stiff... the flashback cut scenes were the most annoying part of the game cause just when your about to beat a stage boss or complete a level one cut in and screwed you up.

And I looked over his "Masterpiece" all he did was add the various Autobot insignas and reflective red tap, and the red around the nose cone other then that It's all original not even any other minor paint changes :rolleyes:
He even says the fastbacks are painted but they also mold them in red :lol:

Is Invasion the one with the Cyclones? I rented that, it was horrid.

While I give them a A for effort the game was an utter failure... I got it a month after it came out for $6.99 which was still too much to pay... Youd had to crank the brightness on your tv to 100% in order to see in certian boards... It was way too dark!

I would like the Shadow Chronicles game that is suposed to becoming next year, now!!! with the series release next year as well, hopefully I can fly an Alpha or Beta or both :D
also It would be nice if it was done like Xenosaga where you could walk around the bigger ships and interact with ppl play mini missions and scramble when the invid attack...
