Though we love our Transformers and they are good looking, they lack the principal factor that makes lolcats such a success: they are not as cute as cats. That is why I don't think it will have the same impact as lolcats.

More than a bit off topic, but in response to that site:

NOT true.

Any of them in G2 are, if one assumes the comics to be one continuous continuity, a rebuilt Optimus Prime created by the Last Autobot. Possibly meant to be Action Master, but later deemed to be G2s rerelease of Prime.

Transformers: UK #205 shows Galvatron fighting Powermaster Optimus Prime. Check the head design, the two "vents" on the side show it's Powermaster merged with his trailer. Yes, it's a hallucenation of Galvatron's but it IS Powermaster Prime, as Optimus Prime throughout the TimeWars was using his Powermaster body.

Transformers #76 which is what that quote is taken from is also powermaster, and the only time they admit it.

i don't get it...

Cthulu was an entity created by HP Lovecraft (a name I'm sure you'll get a rise out of) in his seminal story "The Call of Cthulu" about a man who is looking over his uncle's papers, and his uncle has been investigating strange events all connected to this word "Cthulu" and events in the Pacific Ocean.

Cthulu is at best description a bit green THING that sleeps in a sunken city. He was here before man, before the dinosaurs (IIRC). Along with others of his race.


Descriptions vary, but he's got a squid face a la Davy Jones (Cthulu is where they got the idea for Davy from PotC) and is HUGE.



Do you remember the hullabaloo over the "bloop" that was detected a few years? THAT was right near where Lovecraft said Cthulu slept.
