Ok, sketch looks great, concept is good, but somehow, I can't picture this being Soundwave. I'm sure, they will put a "sound" feature" on him, but somehow, this car concept doesn't do me. I know, cassette deck is out, MP3 player or even an iPod will not do because we need him to be in a form that somehow conveys power... but it is difficult for me to accept this. What do you guys think?

I'm glad they're not using it. Its somehow just too plain looking to me. The TFA Soundwave is much cooler.

I dunno, that looks like the Dodge Magum SRT8. It's a pretty impressive 5 door car.

Guido's unused concept for an updated Soundwave in "All Hail Megatron". Personally, I want to know why the hell they didn't use this. Micro-recorders are still very popular among journalists and could you imagine all the key human targets he could get close to like that?

"Mr. President, a statement please!"

And considering that in the IDW universe the Decepticons are good about capturing humans and replacing them with puppet lookalikes- c'mon, Soundwave is so perfect for the role of captor!

Now THAT is badass.. Guido did a great job on the design.

Wow, I'm impressed. That is one sexy Soundwave.

I agree the first one is only a blah but the second one is cool as hell!
