Waspy is back! Awesome.
Also BA is a skank in TFA.

About Autobot Camp.
DAMN, I was really hoping Sentinel Prime was the traitor. And as much as the Beast Wars homage tickled my fancy I would have prefered if Wasap remained the intlligent and slightly snobbish guy he was in boot camp.

Autobot Camp was fun... I don't like how they did Ironhide, but it was great to see how 'Wasp' ended up

Anyways, just got done watching Autobot Camp and I'm loving this.
They fooled me 2-3 times with this episode. First thought Wasp wasn't going to talk like Waspinator, but then they gave us that at the end (just wish Scott McNeil could have done the voice like originally planned). So, we have two Preds, can we at least ONE Maximal? Any would do, but Rattrap, Dinobot (even though he'd be confusing due to name), or Depth Chrage would be the most notable chooses. Second, "Longarm" looks a lot like Nemisis Breaker and I never thought he was Shockwave. I also like Sentinel having the rank of Minor. After SUV using all the shitty villians, this was a great episode. |

I've been missing these the first run through on TV, and after updating my Flashplayer Youtube is even LESS accessible to me, since it won't SAVE the streaming video. Which means I haven't seen this one yet. Meh.
However, I did have the strangest dream the other night that Dreadnought and I were working on designing Waspinator(and other characters) toy... I made a pretty cool bee/helicopter thing. Voyager size, though that might just have been because it was a prototype. Dreadnought apparently had a great idea for Depthcharge and Rampage, but in the dream he didn't show them to me.
Oh, and in the dream we were also annoyed that Hasbro declared Rattrap would be a repaint of Bumblebee.
Strange dream. Strange mostly because of the monotony and dullness of it. I basically was dreaming "another day at the office" except I don't work for Hasbro and the board members are not fellow employees(Prisma Nova was in the dream too, but only in passing. She left the report for what we had to design under what restrictions).

Your dream was close,
Wasp is the same design as BB with a new head.
Anywho, Walky just made a comic about this episode (spoiler free to)

Yeah, I'm sure we all knew who the traitor was the moment he had a silhouette in the episode :P

heh... it wasn't THAT obvious (though remember, the target is little kids too)
This was still a fun episode.
I do have to wonder... is the Boot Camp and Autobot Academy two different entities then? I'm assuming it is, because the Bots were in Awe that Optimus was trained in the Autobot Academy, which seemed to be specifically for the Elite Guard. That wouldn't be quite so impressive if both Bumblebee and Bulkhead were both trained there as well.

Every week in Autoboot Camp, the audience votes for their favorite cadet. The bottom two vote getters must perform a combat demonstration, and then the panel of drill instructors picks which one is eliminated and sent off to Space Bridge Repair Duty. At the end of the season, one of the final two cadets is crowned The Next American Autobot and awarded 250,000 cubes of energon and a spot on the next season of Autobot Academy.
The rules of Autobot Academy are too complex to get into here, but it's relevant to the story that Optimus was a fan favorite in Season 3, but he ultimately was kicked off the island after Sentinel stole the immunity idol.
