Greetings All,

The comlpete series of F4:Worlds Greatest Heroes came our on DVD last week. Thankfully I had not been buying the single disc releases in anticipation of this. When this was first on CN in the fall of 2006, I really didin't like it. Probably because I only saw a handful of epsiodes, and since they were in no particular order this just made the series seem pointless.

Now however that the series is all together, I am really enjoying it. The animation is great, espceially the city-scapes. I know hardcore FF fans find some of the character traits a bit out of place (Thing having the "4" spraypainated on this chest for instance), but overall this is a nice up to date version of the first superhero family. I still really like season 2 of the 90's series mostly because of the Galactus stories, and even though this series never introduces the big "G", there are plenty of great moments & some nice super-hero cameos as well. Anyone else have a chance to check this out? I'm sure any viedo hosting website will have the epsidoes to view as well. My opinion of this series has definitely changed for the better. I've watched about 1/2 the episodes and so far my favorites are the one with the Hulk "Hard-Knocks" & the 1st appearance of Annihilus "Annihilation", who they just make flat-out disturbing.

It was a fair-to-good series. I liked that, unlike other F4 'toons, they actually gave Doom a vaguely European accent.
