Thanks everyone! I had a really great b-day weekend. Oh my gawd, so much stuff happened.

On Saturday:
My co-workers all got together for an unrelated barbeque, but whatever. It's still a crowd and we were all having fun. And I totally stole my friends' girlfriend. Hehehe. Well, he likes to think they've got a relationship, but they've only gone out twice in 5 months. Plus he's in Hawaii and didn't bother bringing her along (because his parents don't even know about her). So while he's off in Hawaii, I snagged her!
Then we went to a Polynesian fire dance afterwards and that was really cool.
Came home much later that night and finished the whole Beast Machines review thread. That sucker is done all except for the big wrap up or final word.

On Sunday:
My little sister made rice crispy squares.
I made danish coffee cake (light and fluffy, not a brick of bisquick)
My dad took me out to brunch.
My mom made the most awesome ribs ever and other bbq grub- also hella' good.
My older sister made white cupcakes with strawberries inside them. Mine had a crab on top made out of strawberries! It was so cute!

I got the Joker toy and 3 disc special edition Hellboy from my lil' sis.
I got Deathproof from my older sis.
I got a utility knife from my lil sis' b/f. Didn't expect that.
I got 50 bucks from my dad
I get something else from my mom when I finally bother telling her what I want (I thought she'd just surprise me! Who knew she needed a list?!)
I got Metallica's black album and some AC/DC from a co-worker

And yeah. Good weekend!
Oh, and that co-worker that got me the cds... well apparently it was his b-day on the 10th and no one did anything, because he didn't tell anyone. And he's all obsessing over what to get me, and I'm just like, "Dude! Don't go spending 50 bucks or driving around the entire state," because he was. "If it were me, I'd spend 7 bucks top and get you something."
To which he says, "You can't get anything for 7 bucks!"
So as a little joke present, I got him the newest issue of Playboy. Because his girlfriend, that none of us has ever seen, and only visits him twice a year, because she's a cheerleader for the Chargers and always follows the team around to the games (except for the whole half a a year when there are no games..... right? ..... Right? ...... ) ..... uh where was this sentence going? So anyway, yeah, he never sees her, so I thought I'd get him some mild porn. :D And he has the best response ever. He says, "What am I supposed to do with this!?!?"

I busted up laughing and said, "Well, that's entirely your business and I don't want to know about it."

Good weekend!!! Today after work I went down to TRU to see if I couldn't snag Animated Blackarachnia as the perfect cap to all of it, but they still don't have Animated in stock. Maybe I'll try Target later. I don't know. Still good though! And thanks again everyone!
