I usually get some good coupons in my e-mail for like 30% off stuff at Borders or Best Buy. I can't justify spending full price on this series. I mean, it did have some good stuff in it, but it's still only slightly better than your average, mediocre TV anime.

I'll get it, simply for collection sake. And I liked Cybertron well enough (though it's better when played slightly faster than it was aired... no seriously, the voices, the action, everything is much better at like 125% speed!)

i actually have to buy this....only because i hope they have the japanese voices with subtitles. i dont care about openings and endings((well...ctually i do)) so just the japanese vocies will do....if anyone can find this out for me i may just end up buying the hong kong bootlegs of the series for like 5 bucks

Not only that, but including the Japanese audio on the English video would be an editor's nightmate. First, the first episode would have to be restored as half of it is missing in the English. Then there's the Japanese music from the prologues. They lead into the intro music, meaning if the intro won't there, it'd sound choppy. Same goes for the title panel, the English puts it over a scene while the Japanese have a title screen. I think there's music there to. There's more, I just can't remember now.

I bought a set similiar to
This one a while back, which has English & Chinese Audio along with optional chinese subs. And if you want Galaxy Force, you can get that separately:
Here, its just the first 13 episodes, but if you search around you can find the others as well.
As has been preivously stated, there were too many edits/changes between Galaxy Force & Cybertron to just lay the Japanese & English Audio side-by-side, same goes for Armada & Micron legend, although I woulnd't mind seeing some of the Japanese episodes some time as they did a nice job of cleaning up the animation. Energon & Superlink however "might" have the potential of a dual language set if Paramount ever decides to release this series on DVD as I dont think there was much changed for the translation....
