Positions in order of Authority
- Master and Mistress: These are the the in game characters of the admins'. The Sovereign is the Master, Saregona is the Mistress. They have the power to converse with all life, plant or animal, and have the ability to manipulate the weather, the elements and the emotions of others. These two characters are powerful, legendary and renowned, so when other characters come across them, whether they are human or equine, they must treat them as such. They demand and deserve complete respect, and perhaps even wariness, from ALL other characters - even Celestial beings.
- Celestials: These are the godly powers; God and Goddess for the Sacreds, Druid and Druidess for the Torns and Demon and Demoness for the Shadowed. They are made up of one stallion and one mare character, and there can be no mare character without there first being a stallion. The God/Druid/Demon must exist first before he chooses his respective partner, which can be any mare whether she is willing or not. Celestials live in their corresponding lands, and have complete authority over all characters beneath them on this list.
- Spirits: These are the souls of equines who pass away who join the Celestials in their lands. They are, essentially, ghosts. They have an ethereal glow, and can move in silence, fly, disappear from sight and pass through objects. They can visit certain places upon the mortal plane to offer help or act as messengers for the Celestials, but they cannot grace(or taint) the mortal realm for long. They have authority over everything below them on this list.
- Royalty (equine) and Leaders (human): Royalty are the Kings, Queens, Princes and Princesses of the equine alignments. The King and Queen are the first stallion to claim the terra of the King and his chosen mate. After that, they are the royal bloodline and they continue to hold the throne with male heirs. Royal bloodline can change if;
* There is no male or female heir at the time of the King's death and the Lord and his family step up to become the royal bloodline.
* There is no male heir at the time of the King's death and a female heir takes up the position and takes herself a King along with his bloodline.
* The King's position is challenged after he is 8 years of age and the challenger beats the King in combat. Challenger becomes new King and the royal bloodline changes to his.
It is the job of Kings and Queens to summon their alignment together if need be, and to offer his wisdom if he wishes to. They oversee the greater goings on, and make decisions of diplomacy or conquest. The royal bands must be obeyed by their subjects always. Leaders are the Lead Men and Women of their Tribe, and their job consists of governing their tribe, making sure that the tribe is healthy, housed and fed, and keeping track of the movements of the Wild Horses. They can assign lesser tribe members to perform tasks for them, which aren't to be questioned unless the task is unreasonable. Leaders also make decisions about declaring war on another tribe.
- Lord/Lady (equine) and Shamans (human): The Lord and Lady are either appointed by the King, or are the first stallion to claim the terra of the Lord and his chosen mate. They are the King and Queens second in command, and assist in keeping their alignment in order. It is the Lords duty to lead the alignments warriors and warrioresses into battle, and his Lady will take over care of their terra in that instance. Lord and Lady keep the position in their bloodline with heirs in much the same was as the Royalty does, with the same applicable conditions for change of bloodline - except the one to step into the Lords position is the Alpha Stallion and his family in the first instance. Shamans are the spiritual members of the Tribes, and are respected and revered for their powers of magic and insight. They can be either male or female and are not one's for having family - rather they take on an apprentice from another family who either asks the Shaman to do so, or the Shaman picks a child whether the family is willing or not.
Alphas: The Alpha Stallion and Alpha Mare are either appointed by the Lord, or are the first stallion to claim the terra of the common equines of each alignment and his chosen mate. They watch over their lands and ensure that order is maintained. In the event that another bloodline needs to step up into the Lord and Lady positions, then the Alphas are the ones to take those positions.
Common Equines and Tribes People: These are the equines and humans that hold no position. This status applies to any tame horse regardless of what position they held before they were captured. In the event that a captured wild horse who once held high position escapes or otherwise returns to the wild, they are stripped of their postition and are no longer entitled to it. The only job these horses and humans have is to live their life, and to obey the commands and rules of those who have higher authority than they do. Not a complex concept to keep to.
