Directions to Hardcourt beside Chong Ghee Temple:

Take train/bus to Sengkang, Transfer to LRT, alight at Rumbia station,
exit by exit B, walk straight along a sch, & you'll see Chong Ghee. :)

H A P P Y N E W Y E A R !

It seemed like a long wait but finally Jon appeared around 11:35pm singing 3 songs (2 english & 1 mandarin). Once Jon appeared we were instantly energised and screams were generated with no reservation. Good job, Jonatics! And it was not only us whose screams for Jon were heard, there were also screams all around.

The fireworks display was a spectacular sight! It was a great countdown to be with all of you Jonatics there and especially with Jon, although he was quite a distant away.

May 2009 holds better things and better outcome for everyone! Strife and work hard for your hopes and dreams and have faith which will help to see you through!

Wow, there were so many people this year, much more than last year! And it was really nice to celebrate with all you!

As Jon took the stage, he was looking through the crowd and happily waved to the JOnatics holding the placards in the sea of people. Of course, we let out loud screams!

The official photographer came all the way from the far end of the stage to actually take a close shot at us ...... Oh, Eve, Kai Leng, Angelyn, Irene who were in the front row may be appearing in their magazine??? :lol: The female host (unsure what's her name though?) commented that Jon looked very much like Takeishi Kaneiro, mmm ...... both have the same suave brooding chiselled good looks!

This time round everyone (from people standing on the stage ... MP Michael Palmer, committee members, entertainers and the crowd) had a very good view of the bright fireworks display lighting up the clear open sky.

After the countdown, Jon was being quickly lead to the waiting van but still took the time to wish all of us " A Happy New Year"! It's always extra special to usher in the New Year with Jon!!!

Yeah! Really had a great time! The weather was fine, the crowd was spontaneous, the fireworks was beautiful, and Jon on stage, what a great way to start a new year!
Jon's performance was fantastic as usual, and I could really see him made an effort to look out for us and waved to us!!
And Elle, thanks for sponsoring the lovely lightsticks!
Only pity was, Jon was rushed into the van by some bulky security after the countdown and we didnt have the chance to wish him a happy new year properly.
Hope to see Jon and all of you again soon!!

Happy to celebrate the new year together. such a beautiful moment indeed.
seeing the fireworks display with Jon looking at the same fireworks wishing and welcoming the new year...together, we welcome the best 2009, together we wish him success for his career.

even though we didnt get to talk to him much...but he is very appreciative and happy to see all of us. this one I know for sure...:)
always be the best loyal supporter for him...^_^ that's the most important thing.

oh did you realize when we became the centre of the audience's attention? haha when we screamed..when we waved our placecard....most of the audience looking at us...even at the VIP they turned their head to see us...hahaha....

Jon kept on looking and waving to us too...:) there's one part that Jon waved to us and then he did a Thumb up...:) haha who noticed it?

Yea, you all were the ‘stars’ of the night! One would not miss seeing you all with the luminous light sticks and bangles ‘sparkling’ in the huge crowd, waving with the placecards 'J' 'O' 'N' (with some of you standing on the chairs) and screaming so loud for Jon. :lol: And yes, many many.. people were looking at your side. ;) Good job! and it was really a great night celebrating the New Year with Jon and all of you! So much funs and laughters! smitten
