Title: jon's 30th Letter
Description: May 2009

Dear all,
here's the piece from Jon.
Enjoy reading ..:)
Eveline
Hello everybody! Thanks for all the Happy birthdays letters and gifts
I received in my emails and through snailmail to my record company.
The well wishes from all of you, i was pleasantly surprised to receive
so many. It keeps me going. And I am really thankful for your patience
and sticking by me since 2006.
You know, the last month has been very busy, I have been going in and
out of auditions, classes, lessons and learning new things. There's no
shame in telling everyone that I went for auditions and did not get
them because most of the time, that's what happens to everyone (but
they just don't tell you)! Hahaha!
Anyway, I am constantly working on the craft and looking for suitable
opportunities and trying new things, re-learning skills as well,
because being self taught in most of the areas, I have been trying to
get proper advice here and there to help me along the way and prevent
injuries and change bad habits and all that shebang. Hopefully, you
guys will like the new stuff that I have been fusing here and there to
improve what you used to see and hear before.
I am finally going to take a 'pilgrimage' of sorts to go out there and
get inspired, recharged and refreshed. I am going to see how other
artists/ musicians work their craft and strut their stuff. I want to
do more than just read and watch in the confines of my room or the
studio. I've always wanted to see the real deal. So if I don't get
access to my email for a couple of weeks, you know why. I have been
trying to find better rates for the ACDC concert at wembley stadium
but haven't found it yet. I am dying to go for a big kick a$$ rock gig
with big budget and passionate, jumping crowds. The metal hammer
golden gods 2009 awards are happening at where I will be as well but
the competitions for winning the tickets are all closed! Sigh! Maybe I
will try to sneak in...
Obviously, it's a budget trip so I will be backpacking on my own and
finding my way around. No fancy hotels and fancy foods on this trip.
Maybe next time.
I will be able to tell you more when I come back. I am trying to
arrange to go for some workshops to learn something from a different
place. Anyway, I wish all those who care the best on my birthday! See
you soon.
Jon.

Also, please take special care of your health. Taking precaution is very important since H1N1 is still everywhere.

Hi, it's me again!
Wondering whether your ‘pilgrimage’ covers London - since you mentioned ACDC Concert at Wembley Stadium & Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2009. If I didn’t get it wrong, seem both holding events in London, former on 26th June and latter on 15th June. That means you’re already on your journey?
Wow, so exciting! Hope you’ll get the chance to meet your favourites & you’ll definitely have the most wonderful experiences during this trip. The temperature in Europe is cool but do bring along a scarf or something warm as weather can be rather eratic.
We’re definitely looking forward to hearing your experiences (wherever it may be)!
