there will be something you guys wont miss to show our love to Jon..^_^

Let us work together with fun and creativity for our beloved Jon making the starry flags for our recordings event @ Mediacorp...:)

these flags will be distributed and given out to ppl who support Jon @ the studio and will show our unity too..:)

thus, those who wanna volunteer to work together on the stars, do raise up your hand..upps I mean do write down your name below :P as well as if wanna chip in for the cost...:)

1. Stars with black and gold as base, with silver letter : J, O, N
so it will be grouped 3 by 3
2. Stars with Jon pic in it

the volunteer will meet up after 12th november 2006 event @ bedok swimming pool and
we will do the materials shopping together...

and we will do and work together on the 18 november 2006 @ about 3 pm @ my house - upper bukit timah

hm... i was thinking probably we can use luminous coloured paper or gold coloured paper as the base for the star with the alphabets "J", "O" & "N" in black.... think it's more eye catching yea & Jon will be able to spot it from wherever we sit ? :P

If I can make it on 18 Nov, count me in. I got more than 10 sheets of A1 neon paper and about 15 sheets glittery gold, silver and red wrapping paper left over from the SI days if you think you can use it.

Hey guys. I am still continuing making the stars. Use A4 size coloured paper, fold into half and draw a star in it. Write the word JON. I use red marker to colour the word and use glitter glue as the outline. Eor the picture of the star u can go 2my homepage to see it. Hope this helps!

As per our earlier conversation, my suggestion is to have all the 3 letters JON in one flag/star/board instead of separately. One person can hold it so you dun need to rely on 3 persons holding up the letters at the same. From the SI experience sometimes not all 3 pax holds it up at the same time and sometimes tired so the letters are not held at the same height. Also, sometimes people need to go..toxxxx..so "letter holder" is missing! hahaha :lol:

How about something like what Sly's fans did for the Hype Up concert. See attached pic. It was in luminous orange and there were a group of them holding the SLY styrofoam thingy so it looked really nice in both normal and dim concert lights. (The pix only shows a few of them). I thought it was really a sight to behold like fire flies in the nite sky....mmmmm...romatic.

So maybe we cld do something even better for JON in luminous green or yellow with more design. Furthermore the styrofoam gives it a 3D effect instead of just 2D cardboard. But then you need a hot wire to cut the styrofoam and your house may be filled with styrofoam "perfume" when you cut it. Just my suggestion.

Yup, will help out for the 18 Nov but could be a bit late. Got my office events for whole day but I'm gonna do disappearing act after lunch and not join them for bowling etc for the rest of the day....ah what to do... my heart is with Jon and of course you Jonatics!

some of you mentioned to use red/green (christmas colours) for the stars. its a great idea and i think we could make a few of that. but perhaps we shouldnt put emphasis on it as im sure these stars would be used in the future too. it wouldnt be good if we went for another event (for example: chinese new year), carrying stars that has xmas colours right? (:

hmm this is just my suggestions though. keep the ideas coming in! brain juices flow~~

Oh ya...that SLY's one look nice and simple...maybe can consider making something like that.

I think we can decide on Sunday what to make and the color...maybe the JON board and ms_wati's stars...with two designs...more easier!
