I have had the chance to re-watch Jon's performance on YouTube (don't know why I did not remember this song earlier). Anyway I am so in love with "Whenever You Will Go" and I have been re-playing it several times over & over again.

My favourite section (the lyrics is so touching) :-

My verdict : So very perfect for Jon's vocal range - he can really relate to the lyrics. The presentation, facial expression, tone of voice, his mike control ...... everything just suited him remarkably that nite. I will rate this song No. 2 on my list after Chasing Cars.

I also loved The Calling's original version (Sob, sob, the break-up & tattooing is so painful .....).

birthday girl? HAHA so sweet! and seriously i thought the radio was playing jonathan's version of chasing cars on the radio. until i realised it was the full version of the song. GOD they had me convinced for a while! but my friend doesnt think so. ahh maybe my mind's too full of jonathan i'm imagining him.
