Hi Irene,
Just to say it was a really enjoyable night, listening to all the oldies with you! Pon said that Vernon's voice is very mellow & think he sounded better now than when he was younger. The 'Tornados' was great too. Aunt Peggie enjoyed herself very much & Vernon was extremely pleased to see her . While still on stage, Vernon thanks all of us for attending & thanks us for bringing Aunt Peggie there to support him :)
So thanks Irene for info on this wonderful performance & i knew that you really have enjoyed yourself & also thanks Carol for being there ..hope that you enjoyed it too! However, this morning, hard time crawling up..boozed too much..hee

You really gave Vernon a nice surprise with hubby Pon & Aunt Peggie.
So glad we were there, throughly enjoyed overselves.

What a fantastc performance from Vernon, real classy..and extremely talented.
He could easily hold a concert on his own !!!!
Agree with Pon, Vernon's voice sounded even better, so rich and mellow.
So delighted listening to the oldies sung with ease and so much passion.
Only wish he had sung some Christmas carols...well, perhaps another time.

Hope we don't have to wait too long for the next gig.
Only wish there is a local web site setup where we can logged on for updates on the 'Veterans" Performances.

The 'Tornados' were also fantastic.. such great music which we don't get to see performed often.
