10. So Sick - Ne-Yo

Special mention to be given to "Chasing Cars" and "Faraway", both songs have previously been sung by Jonathan Leong. "Chasing Cars" can be classifed as Jon's signature song now and it's No. 1 on the charts (I am having such a sentimental feeling - it brought back fond memories of Jon when he first sang it on Idol Spectacular and again during Grand Finals, yes absolutely and truly unforgettable). Both versions done by Snow Patrol and Jon are equally amazing (or maybe Jon's vocal version is better!).

So glad some of my fave songs are in the Top 10; particularly Chasing Cars, Faraway, My Humps, Buttons & Promiscuous.

Now I am awaiting for Jon's songs to be in the Top 10, will they appear in the English or Mandarin charts or both? Something for us to ponder ....... at least for year 2007!

yah, i can say that chasing cars is his somewhat signature song... whenever i heard that song being played either in foodcourt or some shops, i would definately stop whatever i am doing (say, eating) and immediately imagine his face and his performance during the judges choice week and finals... arrrggg.... i really miss those times... :(

haha and once when i was at the food court with my cousin, we were eating. suddenly chasing cars started playing then from the side there was a scream and then this little girl was hopping up and down shrieking JONATHAN JONATHAN JONATHAN! and she spilled her food all over herself. haha my cousin nearly died laughing BUT I THOUGHT IT WAS SWEET OKAY. hurr.

Did anyone of you manage to catch "American Music Awards 2006" on Sun 31/12 afternoon over Channel 5? If you did, you would not have missed Snow Patrol performing "Chasing Cars" (superb ballad and song has been elevated to another dimension courtesy of Jon).

Nickelback received a total of three nominations and managed to clinch the award for "Favourite Album-Pop/Rock category". No prize for guessing which album took the honours - yes it is "All The Right Reasons" featuring their runaway hit single "Far Away".

Woo, I like Nickelback. Congrats to them.
