it's a luo han. NO NUMBERS PLEASE haha.
and so one day he looked hungry. so i was thinking omg you poor thing daddy
must have forgotten to feed you.
so i was like sprinkling the food into the tank and suddenly it just came up and YOWWWED my finger.
i screamed! haha.
and so now i dont dare to feed him anymore ;DD

Colleen, what's your dog's name?
We had dogs. It's heart-wrenching when they leave.
Sam's been asking me to let him have a dog since he was 2.
Haven't given in yet, cos
1. I'll be the one looking after it
2. Want to postpone his experience of heart-break
3. We travel quite a bit and I'm not keen on putting him in a dog kennel. I suppose I could ask someone to dog-sit it.
Although I'm allergic to cat fur, they seem to love me. Slept over at a friend's place several times year ago, and I always wake up to find the cat sleeping on my chest.

Oh I love animals......furry, furry kind makes me wanna cuddle them and protect them.
I used to have 2 dwarf rabbits....please don't ask me where are they now. :(
I took care of them on my own, they are actually toilet trained, no kidding heh...
I bought lots of books on how to take care of rabbits. If there is anyone here that have rabbits, I will be happy to give them to you.
When I watched T.V, I would put "Rockie" on my lap and run my fingers on his soft furry fur...
"Rockie"

"Miki and Rockie"

| Colleen, what's your dog's name? |
his name is Lucky.
not very aptly named huh? ahaha yeah he was given to us when his owner didn't want puppies and was already named, so we decided it wouldn't be very nice to change his name! thus it was left as that :)
to jules!
i used to have rabbits but when the dog came we just had to give them away. furthermore, my mum didn't really like the rabbits \:
it was quite sad i guess, its like there was already a kind of attachment to them.
to bernie
aw man, have you considered getting a cat then? i didn't use to like cats until my aunt had 2 dogs & 2 cats living together and i thought they were quite cute :) maybe you can get Sam either one when he's older! i'm sure he'd be very happy :D

Hi,
It's really really heart warming to know many Jonatics have/love pets/animals. I love animals - they do wonder to one's spirit and mood. I used to have different types of pets when I was a girl...I used to have chicks, hamsters, rabbits, cats and dogs at different times of my growing up. At one time, I had 6 pom! I had one female pom and someone gave my family a male pom cos they didnt want it anymore. I didn't know much about dogs can reproduce easily and then came along 3 lovely pups...I couldnt bare to give any of the pups away and in the end I kept all of them..my family added another pom we recused from SPCA...so we had a total of 6 bundle of joys!!!. I called home to ask about my dogs when I was away in Australia for study and I had to call home everyday...during school holiday when all my friends tour around the country...all I wanted is to fly home to see them which I did. All of them lived to old ripe age and it was really really heart wrenching experienced to see them go. I was heart broken for months when my favourite passed on...I would cry every day...it was a long recovery road for me. I still miss them till today...
Now, my family has a pet rabbit..his name is 'Blackie' - given by my son cos he is black in colour. He is really fat and very picky about food. He loves blueburry yougert treats. My daughter has been asking me to buy her a dog and we are tempted to get one...but we are holding back cos she is still too young (she is only 4 years old) to take care of the dog. When she is older, we will consider to get one.

I'm very serious about Samuel getting a pet and looking after it himself, and not being bored with the routine of taking care of the dog.
Remember the ad where they show that little dog, left on the shelf with all the other old stuff? I thought that was an excellent ad.
Anyway, since end of last year, I've given him a plant to look after. He's got to water it and expose it to sunlight, measure its growth. "If I see you doing a good job, then Mama will consider where you can look after a dog."
I know... I'm a tough mum.
