Title: Post-Party Message from Jon

April - June 15, 2007 05:32 AM (GMT)
For your reading pleasure. :)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey guys,
First thing's first, thanks for the great birthday party the other day. It was really nice, I could see that there was alot of effort put into it and it is greatly appreciated. I still can't get over the adoption of Nhon at the night safari. That is really cool. I am going to visit the night safari and the zoo soon when I can spare the time. I have been meaning to go for the longest time, We've got a real kicka$$ zoo, I heard its even better now, so that's great.

I actually read out my letter for this month at the party as those of you who attended will know, but I was reminded that not everybody was there so I figured I should write one for the website.

well, here goes, this last month was very eventful for me. I had life altering experiences both good and some utterly horrible, but I have come out of it ok, so no worries. I have learned what is important to me in my life right now. I've just turned 25. There's so much I want to achieve so prioritizing my was something that was much needed. Things that requires my effort will, things that don't, won't. You know what I mean?

Anyway, sometimes its abit frightening to think about the future especially in the fragile world of entertainment. But if I never try, I'll never know... its times like this that people need support, and that support has come in the form of my family, the few that I call my friends and you guys, my supporters that have been there even though I have been 'lying low'.

I was giving it some thought about one particular question that I answered at the party which I thought I could have answered better, I wouldn't want you to waste money on books that aren't worth reading. So, my favourite writers, I think that question is a little too general, I would name certain titles instead, I would only recommend "The Alchemist" from Paulo Coelho, but not his other stuff, I didn't
like the rest. Bryce Courtenay's, "The power of one" is good, "The Crucible", from Arthur Miller, the Harry Potter's are a fun read, Neil Gaiman's work in general are very entertaining, "The screwtape letters" from C.s lewis not too bad either, "Brave new world" from Aldous Huxley, Mario Puzo's novels I enjoyed when I was in secondary school and in Junior college (especially "the Godfather"), so yea..thats it for now.

I've got so much to do, its neverending... but yet its good to be busy. All the best till I see you again.

Love,
Jon

Dear Jon

The cool birthday gift of adopting Nhon is special cos you are just as COOL! It was also to spread your love around doing something meaningful!

We are really touched you telling us that we are in your daily thoughts and prayers, it means alot to us too! All our efforts have been worth it! You can see how much your supporters love you yah! We are really glad you have "enjoyed" yourself, urgh maybe should be the other way round right ... haha!

Oh, kinda sad to hear that you had to face some utterly horrible life altering experiences. Gosh, it must have been nightmarish to have to go through it before it was settled, isn’t? The ongoing process before any decision is always tough. Why did that happen? sigh... Really hope you are alright now!

Jon, you have the potential to go really far! Like you say “If I never try, I’ll never know …” and you absolutely dont want to live with any regrets! Just give your best shot and be motivated that you are given the chance to explore regionally, thats a privilege for rare few! Its a fantastic opportunity for you!

Like the inspiring song at the end of your birthday party,
"If we hold on together " ... we will see your dream come true!

"Life alterating" experiences? Hmmm...God never promised us a rose garden. Like the song says, "Along with the sunshine there's got to be a little rain sometime."

Life's like that, there will always be ups and downs, otherwise it would just be too boring, devoid of challenges. Taken in the right spirit and with the right attitude, the "horrible" experiences may just turn out to be your life's definining moments for success later on.

Take heart, stay positive always when the experiences are not so good. :)

Hmm...The Alchemist, my son is reading it now.
Will try to read it after he has finished with it.

Dear Jon,

thanks so so much for your letter...just 4 days after the event, though
we were hoping to get letter from you, but, well, it was faster than
what we expected..:) Thank you JOn, for sparing time to write us..despite your busy schedule. your letter means a lot to us...

as you mentioned @ the birthday bash, even though we might have very little
communication, but you know, that our supports always be with you
and we will make sure that your supporters always be passionate and alive..:)
and we really wanna see you happy and succeed in life.
...because we simply believe in you. You deserve the very best..:)

talking about the birthday bash. We are very very happy that we could celebrate
with you. it was the very first event organized by us for you and we do really hope
that it would be a memorable birthday for you.

Enjoy your life out there...till we meet again! you are also in our daily thoughts and prayers..God Bless, all The best!

you are loved. ;)

you remember this song, rite ;)...Josh Groban!

"You Are Loved (Don't Give Up)"

Don't give up
It's just the weight of the world
When your heart's heavy
I...I will lift it for you

Don't give up
Because you want to be heard
If silence keeps you
I...I will break it for you

Everybody wants to be understood
Well I can hear you
Everybody wants to be loved
Don't give up
Because you are loved

Don't give up
It's just the hurt that you hide
When you're lost inside
I...I will be there to find you

Don't give up
Because you want to burn bright
If darkness blinds you
I...I will shine to guide you

Everybody wants to be understood
Well I can hear you
Everybody wants to be loved
Don't give up
Because you are loved

You are loved
Don't give up
It's just the weight of the world
Don't give up
Every one needs to be heard
You are loved

smiles,
Eveline.

Dear Jon

"You are loved" (Don't give up) by Josh Groban truly depicts our special love and thoughts for you.

The lyrics conveyed our heartfelt wishes to you and that it will give you the strength you need at times. Don't give up, be strong when the going gets tough, constantly preparing yourself well ahead to grasp the one opportunity when it arrives.

Nothing is going to change our love for you. We have absolute belief in you and will always remain your truest supporters.

Wishing you the very best in life always!

XoXo, Kellyn
