Just caught Secret last week, and I am soooo in Lurve!! *swoon*

Jay Chou made playing the classical piano look so hip and cool, and the piano was used as the vessel of communication in the movie. At some parts, I almost had to surpress the sniffles, and other parts I had to contain my guffaws.

There were a couple of quotes in the movie that were just priceless.

''They don't listen to music. They are bad people!"
''If you don't listen to music, you'd end up day dreaming!''

Rofl. Go catch it guys!

It's too much isn't it - how one person can have so much talents! Jay can be quite a romantic, isn't he? I've not read any review on the movie but since you like it and it's a mix of sniffles & guffaws, should be worth catching it. I'm a sucker for guys who play piano & sing anyway!

Angelyn, I think it opens at cinemas today on National Day.

It's a sappy romantic movie, with a twist. In luv with the movie or Jay instead ah? Hahaha. After I told everyone I am so in love with Jay, I had various people who told me that Jay belonged to them, so I'll have no chance! *sulk*

It was a good movie even though I watched it via the English subtitles. I was never a Jay Chou fan but after this movie, I can understand why many are capitvated. He's quite alluring. And I couldn't help comparing Jonathan Leong to him and would safely say that our local talent is quite cool too.

The movie started out pretty normal but the twist in the story was the potent stimulus - which made the viewers realized then that that was not just an ordinary teenage romance story. I’m swooned by his piano feat against the other actor in the “piano battle”. Both were incredible! I liked Jay’s onscreen relationship with screen dad Anthony Wong too. But I must add that I would have been devastated as a parent to lose a son just like that even if I have to wait 20 yrs later to see him again (to those of you who watched the movie, you would know which part I meant, right?)

Hey, btw look out for Jay Chou’s impending concert in 2008 (by Hype Records)!

Yeah, the piano fight! My jaw almost dropped. The could hear the girls in the cinema swooning collectively and the guys gnawing their livers.

I liked the song too, Lover's Tears.

well partly because i'm a die hard Jay fan, but mostly because the show's really good.

The original soundtrack CD is out. 25 tracks in all, mainly music scores (21 of them) but all beautifully played. Easy & pleasant listening, most tracks are only 1+ to 2+ mins long. The CD comes with an album (8x9in by 0.5in thick) featuring a collection of scenes from the movie, a terrific good buy for those who liked the movie and of course for those of you who are just simply in love with Jay.

Just watched Secret for the 2nd time yesterday :D But then, there are people I know who's gone to the cinema 10x for this movie!
