Description: A hilarious, animated-adventure Movie

Bonjour!

Fancy a rat for a French Cook! Oui (yes)! It is indeed a rat and one with an amazing talent in culinary skill. There’s Remy (the rat) and Luiguini (the garbage boy) who collaborated together to give us a fun, hilarious, adventure in a 5-star Gourmet Restaurant in Paris. Another excellent animated movie from the Academy-Award-winning director Brad Bird (of the “Incredibles”). Critics have given it a 5-star review.

The story yet tells one that one should work towards one’s dream. However, in the course of fulfilling one’s dreams, be prepared for the difficulties along the way and the choices that one might have to make ultimately.

It’s the start of the school holidays, so it’s a great time for family bonding. Watch the movie with your children. You’ll have to book early though because these few days, tickets for this movie sell out quite fast.

Hope to hear your views & comments on the movies here.

Enjoy!

PS. If after watching all the French cuisines and your mouth is just watering for some, well, here’s one place to consider - just recently there was a food review on a little cafe down at Serene Center off Bukit Timah Road which serves really good French cuisine but at very reasonable prices - I don't know about dinner but I do know the Set Lunch is S$14.90 (main dish & choice of either soup, coffee or desert). Worth the try!

Oh by the way, "Ratatouille" is a french word for "thick stew" - a vegetable stew, usually made with eggplant, tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, and onions, seasoned with herbs and garlic
