Thanks Eveline for uploading the video I took of Jon’s second song “Yi Lu Shang You Ni” at Courts and also the third song “Time After Time” recorded by another Jonatic with her handphone. Argh! My camera memory card was full at the last part of Jon’s YLSYN performance and missed out on the song ending! Those others who recorded Jon’s performances at Courts, come and share your videos with us leh! We wanna drool over Jon’s performances and hear the songs again time after time!

Wow! Jon arranged the music himself for the “old Jacky Cheung song” giving it a “fresh feel” and moreover got 2 mystery guest guitarists accompanying him for this unplugged version. Ooooo….Jon’s performance was very touching and meaningful…. “dedicated to his numerous supporters who have journey with him since his ‘Singapore Idol’ days” quoting Agatha’s post in the other thread on the Courts event. These 2 performances of Jon are so special and he has thus far not sung these 2 songs again yet. Maybe waiting for a venue where the guitarists can hide backstage and remain unidentified! Who could they be, ah? His Reverie band-mates, I wonder? Hey, do you think he will perform these songs at the NTUC Variety show? Sure to have a backdrop where the guitarists can hide behind!

I think the unplugged version shows off Jon’s voice so well and you really need to be a good singer to sing “unplugged” songs! And WOW! Jon is so talented and he is writing his own songs and doing his own music arrangements….oooohhh…leaves us in such delightful anticipation for the release of Jon’s very own album! Jon, jia you!
