Jon has mentioned in his letter that he did something for Teens magazine. Indeed, you can find him in the March issue, pg 70 – 71 :D He wrote few CD album reviews in a section called ‘Listenup’. Also, there is an update on him. Go get a copy !

Oh, haven’t seen it yet! Gotta try grab a copy fast!

I went to the nearby store and found only one copy of the Teens magazine left in that store. It was like a “browsing” copy coz the pages were curled up like a lot of people have read it. So now I gotta go check out other stores to find a copy still in good condition to buy! But of course I couldn’t wait and read the whole section on Jon at the store first lah! Haha :P

Jon with his excellent writing skills, his music knowledge and his interest in listening to all kinds of genre of music really enabled him to do a great job! Jon is so talented and versatile! He even gets to “rate” the albums and recommend the tracks in each album! Wow! Wow! Wow! Thanks to Teens for giving Jon this opportunity and featuring another of Jon’s talents and skills! I think they should get Jon to do this more often! smitten

I just came back from my holiday trip and found out that Jon is @ teen Mag hihi..
for those who actually cant get the copy at the mag stalls, you can actually buy it @ the mediacorp publishing @ Ang Mo kio...you can find any magazine for the past 6 months...

Considering Jon's interest and aptitude for music and writing, a "natural progression" into the music review arena comes as no big surprise (and this has no relation to me being conjectural).

If you were mindful about not incurring the wrath of the music fans or thinking about the impressionable teenagers who form the bulk of the readership of 'Teens', you will be inclined to agree with me that this is one "considerate and refined piece of review" by Jonathan Leong. If I may further add, the English lessons that he attended in school has already stood him in good stead and I believe his former English teachers will be glad to know that (if they have not already known the fact).

to be able to write a review in such away..what I can say...he is relly into Musics!

Jon is featured in Teens' May'08 issue! :D Pg 68 - 69, "Jon Rocks with teens!" - a nice introduction by Teens followed by Jon's reviews on 3 albums and an interview with him in this section. Oh, there is also a nice pic of him :)
And again, a job well done!!!

Well done to TEENS magazine! Congrats on getting Jon to be their English album critic for 3 whole months! yahoo Waha! They sure know a good thing when they see one! Oooo…like I said about the March issue, Jon wrote the reviews like a pro and the May issue is further confirmation of this fact and no denying of Jon’s talent in this area!
